The Bear fans in 'tears throughout' series three as they label new season 'beautiful, pensive and melancholic' and insist it is 'the best show on TV'

The Bear fans have praised the new series of the award-winning TV show after all 10 episodes of the third season dropped on Hulu on Thursday.

The show has received critical acclaim for its writing, direction and acting, having won four Golden Globes and sweeping last year's Emmy Awards with 10 wins.

The series centres around Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto, played by Jeremy Allen White, who is a chef that inherits his family's sandwich shop in Chicago after suicide of his older brother.

Series three follows Carmy, his gifted protégé Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri), and his best friend Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as the unlikely trio 'do what it takes to elevate The Bear, their beef stand turned fine dining establishment, to the highest level, all while doing their best just to stay in business.

And excited fans wasted no time in immediately binging the episodes and taking to social media to laud the season as 'some of the most beautiful television of all time'.

They shared: 'Television does not get better than Season 3 of The Bear. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: this show is all heart. I mean goosebumps. Everywhere. Through its third season, I hang The Bear alongside some of the finest shows we’ve ever seen in the history of television, including The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, and Mad Men.'

'The Bear elevating its craft yet again in Season 3. Just a few episodes in but this is some beautiful television.'

'Started "The Bear" s3 and had that fear I sometimes get with a new season of a great show, that it will drop off. Took about 90 seconds to remember this one is on an artistic level like no other show I've seen and essentially can't fail. Unreal first ep.'

'Wow. Episode 1 of #TheBear Season 3 is the best of the series thus far and a true work of art. A stunningly beautiful, pensive and melancholic journey through time and moments both earth-shatteringly huge and small, but precious. I was in tears throughout.'

Notably, the third series sees star Ayo Adebiri make her directional debut with episode six, titled Napkins.

Jeremy, 33, gushed over his 'beautiful' and 'intuitive' co-star's talents at the season three premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

He told Variety: 'It was the best. I wasn't acting in that first day of hers, I was on set just like hanging out... I can say she did a beautiful job.

'She's a beautiful actress and a very intuitive actress. And I think she's a very beautiful and intuitive director as well'.

Ayo, 28, previously told Deadline about directing her first episode, admitting how emotional she had reacted to reading the script.
