  • We #MobilizeMinds: A deep dive into the TUMI Knowledge Hub Bangkok's Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) System: A Case Study for Sustainable Urban Mobility This report, published in 2010, offers a practical model for sustainable urban mobility through Bangkok's Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system. It features a 15.9 km route with 25 buses and 12 stations, efficiently handling 18,000 passengers daily at an average speed of 30 km/h. The BRT integrates seamlessly with the Skytrain (BTS), enhancing connectivity. How is this BRT contributing to environmental sustainability? The BRT uses Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses, significantly reducing emissions. This eco-friendly initiative is crucial in Bangkok's efforts to tackle traffic congestion and pollution.
