It offers multiple interdisciplinary and diversified courses that are not possible during regular semesters. The CEPT University announces the Call for Proposals for the "Winter 2023" courses which will be conducted in the following modes: >> Travel-Based courses within India or Outside >> CEPT Campus-Based courses >> Online-only courses Conducting of Courses: 04 Dec to 30 Dec 2023. BREAKING NEWS | AUF RANKS 57TH IN THE WURI 2024 Angeles University Foundation received international recognition after ranking 57th in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2024 for Student Mobility and Openness Category. The ranking was released yesterday at the 4th HLU Conference at Franklin University in Switzerland. AUF ranked 57th in the World, and Rank 3 in the Philippines in the Student Mobility and Openness Category (A2). The category focuses on exchange and collaboration between schools and across national borders to promote openness and the sharing of knowledge and resources, rather than an independent yet closed system. The World University Rankings for Innovation (The WURI) assesses higher education institutions' real contributions to industry and society, highlighting innovative education, research, and engagement with society using 13 categories. The ranking aims to spotlight higher education institutions that excel in these innovative approaches, thereby inspiring advancements across the academic and societal landscape.

We are happy to share with you a news article in which Finnish National Agency for Education EDUFI HigherEd has highlighted EduSTA project as one of the 16 new Erasmus+ Teacher Academies project. The action supports the professional development of teachers across Europe. Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) coordinates the project. Coordinators Eveliina Asikainen and Ella Kallio describe the first year as a fruitful learning process which has required a great deal of foresight. One positive issue has been the overwhelming need for communication resources. “The theme of the project has proven to be important and interesting at both the European and global level, so communicating about the project has taken up a lot more resources than originally expected. We are of course pleased that the project can already be said to be making an international impact”, Asikainen and Kallio describe. “In short, our greatest achievement so far has been the successful networking at the European and global level. Exciting news from Catalan universities! 🎓 Catalan universities have been making significant strides in international higher education through strategic alliances with approximately fifty universities. These partnerships are part of the European Universities program initiated by the European Union. This year, at the 33rd edition of the EAIE: European Association for International Education in Rotterdam, the theme "Connecting Currents" emphasizes the vital role of international higher education in connecting diverse streams of thought, cultures, and disciplines. Catalan universities play a pivotal role in this initiative as they are part of the European University Alliances funded by the European Commission through the ERASMUS+ program. These alliances, also known as "European Universities," are a #strategic priority within the EU, aimed at transforming higher #education in Europe and shaping the #universities of the future. They position the Catalan #knowledge system on both the European and international stages. Catalan universities are engaged in various #alliances, each with a unique focus: 1. Universitat de Barcelona / CHARM-EU: This alliance focuses on creating a new university model to enhance quality and international competitiveness, with partners including Trinity College Dublin, Utrecht University, the University of Montpellier, and Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. 2. Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona / European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU): A network of 13 universities collaborating to develop a European-scale educational model that brings together various stakeholders to address everyday challenges 3. Universitat Pompeu Fabra - Barcelona / EUTOPIA: This alliance of 10 universities aims to foster an open, multicultural network of connected campuses. 4. Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) / UNITE: A partnership of leading universities from seven European countries focused on technology and engineering, with plans to establish an interuniversity campus model. 5. Universitat Rovira i Virgili / Aurora: URV is part of the Aurora European Universities Alliance, working to equip students with the skills needed to tackle societal challenges as innovative and entrepreneurial individuals 6. Blanquerna - Universitat Ramon Llull / ENGAGE.EU: The ENGAGE.EU alliance, consisting of eight universities, focuses on business, economics, and social sciences to drive social change through excellence in education and community engagement These collaborations not only enhance the quality of education but also promote internationalization and cooperation among diverse stakeholders. 💥Three Heads Are Better Than One- The King Mongkut’s Educational Ecosystem Is Becoming A Reality 💡KMITL Innovation Expo was all about the future of Everything from New-skilling Upskilling and Reskilling in Higher Education, and Carbon Credits to New Farming and People-Centric Smart Cities of the future, the best and brightest minds in a dynamic range of industries came together in the spirit of knowledge sharing and creative inspiration to identify and discuss the future trends and potential solutions that can move the country forward.   💭Takebacks from one of the most pivotal talks during the 2-day event was the “Upskill, Reskill and Newskill-3 King Mongkut’s Institutions Join Forces for Sustainable Success” session which brought together all three higher education sister institutions. On stage was our very own Associate Professor Dr. Komsan Maleesee, President of KMITL, Associate Professor Dr. Suvit Saetia, President of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, and Professor. Dr. Suchart Siengchin, President of King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok.   The 3 visionary leaders discussed the challenges that face Thailand and neighboring emerging economies. It was evident that the staffing of specialists, number of experts in the field and limited resources often hinder the capacity of our industries to grow. Although these challenges pose barriers to success, together, they can be overcome with allied partnerships between the King Mongkut’s Higher Education System.   Each of our prestigious institutions, KMITL, KMUTT, and KMUTNB all possess superior expertise and when combined to create a proactive ecosystem to develop the skills and provide frameworks for industrial workforces, the end product of better skilled graduates and researchers of all levels will be able to inject their expertise into their respective fields.   🎯 With the ultimate goal of implementing credit banks for higher education, the reality of shared study among different universities is just beyond the horizon.   According to Dr. Komsan, “we need to develop integrated academic and practical systems that can be shared with students and lifelong learners of all ages and skill levels.
