It’s the second year of the H2Accelerate TRUCKS project and the focus is now on further improving performance, increasing reliability, and reducing cost. 🚌 💧 150 hydrogen-powered trucks are ready to conquer the European roads. 🚍 We have news to share from Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the 3rd #JIVE hydrogen bus roadshow took place! Last week for the first time ever, hydrogen vehicles of @CaetanoBus and @Mirai Toyota were riding on the roads of the country. The roadshow was an important occasion to promote efforts in shaping green environmental policies in Bosnia. 🌟 Our project REFHYNE was successfully concluded with a final event in Germany, celebrating the development and operation of a 10MW PEM electrolyser! Our Head of Unit Operations and Communication Mirela Atanasiu shared her insights on the conclusion of REFHYNE: 🎤 “It is great to see the successful conclusion of one of our largest electrolyser development and demonstration projects. REFHYNE brought together key players in the hydrogen sector and successfully developed the largest high-pressure PEM electrolyser within a major refinery. Integrating the electrolyser within the refinery led to significant improvements in its design and certification, advancing the European electrolyser industry as a whole." Funded by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, this landmark project has successfully promoted green hydrogen production technologies in the EU's energy and environmental policies. 📰 Check out the full press release ➡ https://lnkd.in/e2D8crfw ➡ Project webpage: https://lnkd.in/eC4S9t2h 💡 The project began in January 2018 with the aim to validate the business model for using electrolytic hydrogen as an input to refineries and prove the revenues available from the replacement of hydrogen produced through steam methane reforming and the generation of greenhouse gas quotas. Call for Tender ⏰  The Clean Hydrogen Partnership has published a Call for Tender to set-up and run a ‘Hydrogen Valleys Facility’. 🎯 The aim will be to accelerate the number of hydrogen valleys in Europe. The facility will include project development assistance to support Hydrogen Valleys at different level of maturity. The European Union has made progress towards having at least 50 Hydrogen Valleys - local industrial or transport clusters where renewable hydrogen supply feeds local demand - under construction or operational by 2030, but important work still needs to be done. Today, European Commission published a Staff Working Document outlining the strategic priorities and actions that are currently ongoing or planned.
