While advertised as a family resort, we seemed to be in the minority. The food in the all-inclusive was basic at best. The dining at night was better when you did not go to buffet but some of the options were the same. Italian was great, Tex-Mex was good. The resort staff could receive a mixed review, some were over the top fantastic while others seemed to not quite understand our questions even at the front desk. Some sewage problems seemed to be happening in different areas of the resort and depending on the direction of the wind or the location of your lounge chair, you would smell them. Additionally, we were taken to a time share meeting we did not schedule, dressed in bathing suits and driven from different area to different area even after repeatedly telling them that we did not have any interest in changing. Total of 3 hours wasted. While the accommodations met basic needs, the shower leaked into the room, the toilet clogged repeatedly, and the bed was basically an old mattress that was hard as a brick. We did book an excursion and found that the company basically took us to a bunch of tourist shops, a rum distillery and the cable car cost extra but was worth it. If you want to stay here, be in college and looking for a vacation that is just about the party or be ok with commission driven sales at every turn.
