Write a reviewWe stayed in this hotel for the Holy week. Location wise, it's quite far from Pl. Catalunya (which is the centrum) but there's a nearest tram station from the hotel (5 minutes walk).
The room is quite big and i love their bed. It is So comfy and we slept well during our stay there.
Menu in the breakfast is quite boring. They didn't refill the pancakes but when i got a chance to have the pancakes, it disappoint me. Not a typical pancakes indeed. But i love their crossants as i ate lots of it every breakfast.
Service is very good as we ordered coffee for room service late at 11pm. And they still accomodated it.
Receptionist was very helpful and friendly giving directions.

I stayed here in April 2010 with my wife and son (6 years) and found this to be a good hotel and good value for money.
Its very close to the El Putxet Metro station from where a direct train (L7 Line) 4-5 stops connects you to the centre (Catalunya station). The hotel is close to all major attractions on the metro. Being a residential area there are many shops and restaurants around this hotel which is useful.
The hotel was very clean and our room (A double room with extra bed) was huge and was very clean with a small mini bar. It had a large jacuzzi tub unfortunately not working and was not repaired even after I informed them about it. You can control the temperature of the room, but it only heats up the room, though there is no way to cool the room. When we informed the reception, they seem to think, we can cool the room and were ready to get it repaired, though the 3rd guy who picked up phone confirmed we can only heat the room (So we had to keep the windows open as it was extremely hot on one of the days).
Room service was prompt and the reception staff were very helpful and spoke excellent english.
As mentioned in some other review, though a very good hotel, I think the star standards are different in Spain compared to UK and so don't expect 4 star UK standard in this hotel. I would classify this in the 3 star category.

The location, staff, cleaness was good. The negative thing is they have not room service. It was really not understood why? They have restaurant in the hotel if you ask some thing you have to go downstairs and take it to your room by yourself

Apart from the fact that should not have been consindered as a 4 star, but rather a 3 star hotel, there are some other points I would like to refer to, based on my recent unpleasant visit to this hotel. The only reason for writing this review is that I believe this hotel is an insult towards customers and travellers. Our stay's duration was 7 days and as the days were passing the things did not get any better, on the contrary became even worse. To begin with, our room did not have any internet access and thus I had all the time to move to the reception in order to check my business emails. In addition, the sheets were not extremely white-clean and room service did not visited the room for a couple of days without any reason. Furthermore, the sound isolation was really bad. Moreover the toilet rubbish bin was broken from the beginning and althouth reported several times never got replaced. The response time of the reception was extremely slow and the staff generally speaking was quite rude. Last but not least, the worst thing that happened was this one time that the room service did not visited the room and the toilet paper run out, after my request and delay of 30 minutes and a second call to the reception, one of the staff opened the door and entered without even knocking! Because I would not like to refer to only negative issues, althouth these seem to remain in memory, the hotel had rich breakfast, really spacious bathroom, reasonable pricing, it is near the centre of the city, but apart from these nothing special. Based on my personal experience, I would NOT recommended it under no circumstances!

Hotel is located close to public transport, not so far away from city centre. It is quite close to Park Guell and Putxet park. In area there are few restaurants, but they are closed around 10 pm. Room service is provided every day. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Window view was sad, cause all we could see was a wall of another building.Stuff is super nice and helpfull. Breakfast is really good and varied. Swimming pool is small but has breathtaking view of city panorama. Originally we booked another hotel from this chain but there were some problems with booking system and we were offered cava and taxi to catalonia barcelona 505 hotel. Apart from this confiusion everything was fine.
