We have just finished a wonderful stay in Catalonia Magdalene’s. The hotel is beautifully clean and extremely welcoming. From the lovely fluffy towels to the comfortable bed. Toiletries were really nice. No need to bring your own. The staff - in particular Silverio in the roof top bar, he is a real credit to the Catalonia hotel group, his knowledge of the area was fantastic. We would also like to thank Adam the concierge whose food recommendations were fantastic, he was so knowledgable about the area and happy to help with all our questions. Adam was very welcoming when going to and from the hotel. Adam is another real credit to Catalonia Magdalene’s hotel group. Sara in the bar today is a delight. Thank you for making our stay so special. We would love to return to beautiful Barcelona and stay in your hotel. All the best Michael and Pamela xxx

Room Tip: The gothic quarter is lovely. Bus trip hop on hop off is well worth it. Barcelona is a delight....

Amazing concierge service
Both before and during our stay
I would particularly encourage people who don’t speak Catalan/Spanish to stay here
Nothing is too much trouble from transport to restaurant advice and their command of other languages including English is excellent
Lovely clean central and comfortable hotel with a smashing breakfast

Had a fantastic, comfortable stay here in the heart of Barcelona. The staff are so friendly and helpful
Really felt like a nice home away from home!
I would highly recommend staying here as it has everything, 24 hr concierge, sauna and pool with a bar on the rooftop, room service and our room had a bath which was really nice!

Catalonia Magdalenes provided exceptional service! The staff, from Bruno at the front desk to Simo the porter to the bartender to another concierge whose name I forgot to write down, we’re extremely helpful and friendly. The unnamed lady walked with us for 6 blocks to catch a cab for us to meet our excursion time. The streets near the hotel were blocked off for the Barcelona marathon and no taxis were available in the immediate area. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend them!
