Had a fantastic, comfortable stay here in the heart of Barcelona. The staff are so friendly and helpful
Really felt like a nice home away from home!
I would highly recommend staying here as it has everything, 24 hr concierge, sauna and pool with a bar on the rooftop, room service and our room had a bath which was really nice!

Our family of 4 (mom, dad, 17 year old girl, 15 year old boy) spent 5 nights over 2 stays at this hotel. Our first 4 nights were spent in 2 superior double rooms, the last night (after a detour to Formentara) was spent in 2 standard double rooms. Both set ups were great - the standard rooms were a little smaller but had the benefit of a hallway door we could close making the 2 rooms effectively a single room. Everything about the hotel was really great. Super friendly service. A great location. On a quiet side street so not noisy. The rooftop bar was nice, although the pool is super small (better than nothing I suppose but I wouldn't cite it as a real feature). Even the room service was good and surprisingly reasonably. A+ all around and quite reasonablly priced at that.

We stayed here at the end of July for a blast of culture and fun and Barcelona didn’t disappoint and the hotel in it’s fabulous position , just by the Cathedral , so bang slap in the middle of the Gothic quarter ,shopping area and the artisanal shops , bars and restaurants of Al Born area .
The transport links for the beach and all the sights were close by and everything was walking distance if necessary .
The hotel is clean the staff fall over themselves to make your stay as comfortable as possible and advise on transport and sights and Point you in the direction of the local restaurants .
There is the most fabulous roof top pool with bar and the most brilliant thing is that they provide snacks and beverages all through the afternoon and late evening !! So much food that if you just fancy lazing around , after sight seeing in the morning , you don’t need to go out for supper , bar serves drinks at reasonable prices , €3.50 for a beer .
The food markets are close by so you don’t have to pay for breakfast , which is quite pricey at €20 per person .
The rooms themselves are brand new ! They give you plenty of towels and products and room service is excellent!
The fact the hotel is so close to all the shopping and tourist spots make this an ideal choice for anyone staying for 3 or four nights .
Couldn’t fault anything !! Fabulous fun place to stay in a vibrant city ! Can’t wait to return .
Oh and a couple of good restaurant recommendations
Bar del Pla , ask for Sandra , 15 mins walk from hotel , and the old converted garage ‘el National ‘ , just north of Catalunya square , the food in both of these is excellent and the service and ambiance exceptional

Stayed for 4 days. The hotel staff were nice and friendly, they have free snacks and drinks on the rooftop in the PM so that's a nice touch. You can tell that they want you to feel nice and special but they missed the important things of being a good hotel.
The biggest problem we had with this hotel is that it's very LOUD! You hear the door banging all the time. It could be the way the hotel was designed and the wood floor. I actually had never been in a hotel this noisy before. Seriously, every time people on your floor close the door, you will hear a big bang! You'll also hear noise when the maid or room service move they stuff around as well.
Another problem we had with this hotel is the bathroom. It's an open bathroom concept apparently. The wall is made of glass and it's not covered from floor to ceiling. So whatever noise or smell you make in the bathroom, you can be sure people in the room will hear/smell. Keep that in mind if you plan to stay there with people you're not very closed to. The towels were a mix between old towels with stains and newer ones. They should just dump the old towels seriously. Why being cheap about something like this I don't understand. Also, we found hair in a couple of towels, something we never did in other hotels. Oh, and there's no hair conditioner provided. The bathtub door is only 1/3 of the tub length and some water would still splash outside of the tub even if you're super careful.
Based on the experience so far, I will NOT recommend anybody staying at this hotel. It's not bad enough for us to go through the trouble of moving the hotel but had I known what I know now, there's no way I'd stay at this hotel.

We booked this hotel for 4 nights so we could see a concert in Barcelona, the service was impeccable from the first minute we arrived until when we left, great room , spotless and room service was also class , the rooftop terrace was to die for with large towels available all day, its proximity to most everything makes this hotel excellent in every way , also the reception staff of Javier and Marina were very very helpful all of the time , I will go again without any hesitation!
