The usual suspects here to shut the women up.

I have a 'new government resolution' (I never do new year ones, but this'll do!): DO NOT ENGAGE! In the absence of a 'block poster' option, I'm going to try very very hard to simply grey rock. Better for my blood pressure (and delete count!) that way. 😁

I never told you anything, @rabbitwoman . I never made any unsubstantiated claims.
I would, however, prefer to look at evidence and verify some of the claims, which I will do.

What was the response when you contacted the Head of PSHE and the Headteacher?

I don’t doubt my dc so no need. I want it changed but that’s political in origin.

Right. Your decision. In your situation I would definitely contact both.

Well you could act differently.

It’s done. They have been educated in accordance with gender ideology. I can’t undo that authority.

My best bet is to pressure politicians

Apologies.

I must have misunderstood exactly what you were trying to say here....?

I was challenging "children are taught..."
Not all children are taught this.
This is why I repeatedly suggest that concerned parents contact the school if they have any concerns.
I don't see what's wrong with that.

You think men are going to take over breastfeeding and menopause groups?
You think despite the Cass Report doctors are going to start treating teenagers with surgery and puberty blockers again? I don't think there is any evidence this will happen at all.

Why is it so far fetched when they have shoehorned themselves into every other women only spaces including rape and domestic violence support groups and refuges. There's loads of them who want to be "pregnant"and "breastfeed" these are common fetishes in the community from what i've seen and some have suckled babies with their vile moob juice, that has already happened.
Who knows what will happen in the future with puberty blockers and surgery for teens, we can only hope that it is a thing of the past thanks to the Cass review.

Anyway, I have to go now, so all the best to any concerned parents on here.
Do ask the school about your child's curriculum. 👍

So, if not all children are being taught this, why are ANY children being taught this?

How did this get into some schools - and cause chaos, quite frankly - but not others?

If its not generally accepted, and should not be, why are some schools saying it is? Why are teachers afraid of saying anything?

Why is it, when we do, we get told we are bigots and fascists? Or, we get told it is NOT happening.

Which you have just done, @EmpressOfTheThread . And then run off.

OK, I get it. You think it's a panic, you think teachers like me are exaggerating? What if we are not? What if real, irreversible harm is being done in SOME schools?

I speak to my dc. What they understand of gender ideology is from teaching at their schools.

Nothing to do with the press. They only know about it from classes

And their friends. And maybe social media depending on their ages.

Men suckling babies is a conspiracy theory. There is no evidence a male can lactate enough to feed a baby. And even less evidence that enough males have those fetishes to overrun breastfeeding and menopause groups.

It's scaremongering that's happened because of the strange politicisation of the debate. I'm really hoping it goes away now for a few years at least.

Empress - until 2022 Ofsted were promoting the teaching of gender identity in schools and shamefully sanctioning primary schools who weren't doing this (Ofsted were Stonewall champions). They were outed by the Telegraph after Stonewall whined (in print) that Ofsted weren't having enough conversations with primary children about gender identity. Ofsted promptly dumped Stonewall and have reverse ferreted quietly - hoping nobody will ask why the school's regulatory body were taking instructions from a dangerous transactivist group:

Ofsted cites lack of gender identity lessons as factor in primary school grading

Analysis of pre-Covid inspections show that teaching about gender issues played a part in determining schools’ final grades

Someone ought to tell the labour transactivist claiming to "breast feed" their baby that they don't exist according to a poster on this thread:

https://www.spiked-online.com/2023/07/03/the-bizarre-case-of-the-breastfeeding-dad/

And of course, good old Pink News were swiftly on the case: (apologies for the link to such a conspiracy theory site)

https://www.thepinknews.com/2024/05/28/trans-women-breastfeeding-explainer-research/

This labour MP didn't think it ws a conspiracy theory:

https://www.edp24.co.uk/news/23642716.norwich-mp-clive-lewis-criticised-trans-breastfeeding/

Google will take you to links about the hospital that promoted men feeding babies with their secretions.

But of course this doesn't happen....... until it does

The bizarre case of the breastfeeding dad

Now babies are being used as props to indulge men’s fantasies about being mothers.

it's so tedious that women have to constantly provide the links that they've done over and over for years, because of people's scepticism, a lot of which I don't believe.

If children are not being taught that gender dysphoria as a mismatch between your internal gender and your sex, is a made up illness, then yes it's happening.

if they're not taught that there's absolutely no evidence for an internal sense of gender, then yes it's happening.

If they're not completely (age appropriately) aware that many adult men purporting to be women have a fetish, then yes it's happening.

There are plenty of threads regurgitating the conspiracy theory, nothing that proves that trans women can lactate enough to feed a baby and even less that enough TW are trying to, to impact breastfeeding groups Confused

I tend not to believe things that people with delusions say.

You know the hospital did no such thing and it's overexaggerated nonsense.

This is really irresponsible scare mongering.
