Fine Barcelona restaurant, offering a fine, almost secluded atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of town. Remarkable seafood, very professional and attentive staff. Highly recommended, whether for smaller or larger groups !

We had the tasting menu, and not a single dish disappointed. I found every serving to be really flavorful and interesting. And they were quite quick in serving the table considering the size of our group and how busy it was at the restaurant that night - well done! The wine selection is very wide and we got to taste some really nice ones. I will not forget their decanter with the very long "nose"... Went to this restaurant with my family and I must say the service was really quite poor as compared to the other restaurants in Barcelona. The food was definately not up to our expectations as there were many michillin stars awarded. It took the staff almost 20 minutes just to prepare a bill too.

Expensive and disappointing. Restaurant had come highly recommended but there are so many great restaurants in Barcelona, this one is seriously overstated. Service went from Pedantic to plan bad - where you were just ignored. Food very mixed - normally prawns with salad means healthy portion of prawns, not an occasional crustacean hiding under salad leaves.
Michelin needs to revisit - as this establishment is not delivering.

I was in this restaurant 2 years ago and it was good. But now...somphing changes- service bad, food was gread quality but nothing special.

As a service man and a costumer altogether i gotta say i enjoyed that place very much.
Enthusiastic for being in a Michelin star restaurant for the first time, didn’t know what to expect, and the sum of all fears - more paying less eating.
Everything was perfect, from A to Z in that restaurant’a standard.
Fine dining service from the waiters, we got a good recommendation on a very good affordable white wine, we had two starters, a salad, one main course and a dessert. We said we’re gonna share everything and the kitchen had perfectly divided our dishes into two matching pieces.
The meat was to die for, the Olive oil was simply amazing with the bread served, the salad was well seasoned.
It felt like everything was right. The staff treated us as royalty, the atmosphere was quite and soothing, and the total bill? 171€. An extraordinary experience i suggest everyone to take just to learn a thing or two about being a costumer, cause we all need that lesson - valuable and not that expensive to be honest! Definitely a must-go!

First I loved the atmosphere of fine dining with beautiful silver domes, wine buckets and meticulous service! My husband had an excellent meal and was quite pleased. I was very unhappy with mine. I ordered calamari which looked as if it was thrown on the plate as an afterthought! Terrible plate presentation for a star restaurant! My fish was cooked appropriately but with 2 very tiny vegetables on the plate. I would not go back there and pay such a high price only for the service.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our dinner overall, as overly salty dishes. No one asked us how our food was throughout our entire dinner, which is a shame for a restaurant of this standard.

We experienced delicious food and great service on our visit here. We found the somelier particularly helpful,
as choosing wine from the extensive wine list was not easy. The recommendation of drinking Sherry with our cheese was a revelation. I particularly found the amount of food substantial. ..previous experiences in Michelin starred restaurants have left me having to fill up with bread ! It was great meet the chef too!

We loved our time at Gaig. We dressed up for the occasion, and were glad we did. Gaig’s interior spaces are sublime and immaculately decorated. The lighting was on the brighter side for most of the evening, but I think it could work for both romantic and business situations.
The service that eve, was absolutely perfect. Our hostess was on point with her recommendations, and wine suggestions. The staff is attentive and helpful.
The food was excellent. We had selections from the traditional menu, and they were all outstanding. My only thought was that Gaig played it safe. I didn’t have anything that challenged the palette, or inspired my curiosity. Anyway, you can’t go wrong here, the food, service and ambiance are perfectly balanced. Go!

Fabulous dinner. Beautiful fine dining. Staff superb, friendly knowledgable and professional. Stunning restaurant
The calamari was one of the best I’ve ever had and the oysters were scrumptious
Suckling pig and turbot absolutely gorgeous
And to finish we shared the Catalan custard pudding which was delicious
Thank you for a wonderful evening ...we will be back.

All perfect, nice and attentive staff, chef Gaig came to say hello and food was amazing. We had the traditional menu, which I totally recommend. Take your time and enjoy the fabulous food.

The restaurant is very adaptive to the environment to provide the MWC menu for people who attend the Mobile World Congress. Nice environment, tasty food. Only pity is the guy who serve us is probably too young and too new, forgetting to provide us wine for really long time.

Food is great quality as you'd expect from this type of restaurant, although I have to say the dessert I had wasn't amazing. The problem is that the service is not Michelin quality at all and the prices are so inflated that I found the whole experience a little disappointing. There are loads of restaurants in Barcelona with better service and equally good or better food at much cheaper prices, so there really is no reason to come here. I am not sure at all how they have kept their Michelin star and it's made me question the whole Michelin system. Still the food was great, but the attention to detail is totally lacking.
