Gastronomic and exclusive Restaurant composed with 4 tables in the room, we attend 10 customers by service. LAB is situated a few minutes of Sant's Station. The name LAB is because our kitchen becomes in a Gastronomy LABoratory where our xef investigates and tastes in a differents ways.

This place is truly an experience worth every cent. The vibe feels almost as if you have been invited to dine at a friends house, super personal and intimate. Natalia is an exremely welcoming host that makes the dinner super pleasant.
The food prepared by Oscar is exactly what he calls it, it is an experiment of flavors and ingredients. Everything we tried was made with care and deep thought, the dishes were suprising and innovative, with wow factos that kept it interesting throughout. Everything tasted fenomenal.
It was a suprise to find a place such as this, to have a meal of such caliber and at a very reasonable price. I recomend it 100% to anyone who is open to try food with a different proposal.

We always like to find innovative and good quality restaurants when we travel, and we found this gem through trip advisor and so grateful we did! They took note in advance of my dietary needs as I was pregnant, and pointed out that they had checked everything they gave me was safe to eat, which was reassuring and thoughtful. The food was tasty as well as creative, and we cannot wait to return. The strawberry sandwich and the consommé with truffle were personal highlights

Superb inventive food, with first class service. Exceptional value. Taster menu (16 dishes), for 55€. Off the beaten track. Well worth a stroll out of the city centre. Edible chicken drumstick (incl bone) a stand out

The setting is small and intimate. The presentation of the dishes is excellent. Some of the courses were as delicious as they were well-presented but others looked better that they actually were. There were three desserts each using interesting ingredients but none of them worked. (cauliflower, strawberry sandwich, pearl onion)
The service was too patronizing to be considered good. The hostess acted like none of the diners had ever been to a fine dining restaurant before. She actually chastised us for daring to order a bottle of wine without seeking her guidance. A little bit too full of themselves in my estimation which is a pity as the chef obviously has talent.

This was certainly an interesting experience, and only for that worth going once, but not more. There were a couple of tasty dishes, but in general the taste was disappointing, as was the office-like restaurant. What actually leaves a memory is the presentation of the dishes, their originality, and little pieces of art. Maybe with time, the chef will concentrate a bit more on the taste and he/she was successful a couple of times. They should also try to improve the decoration since the atmosphere was cold and sad, like an office. In my opinion, they should find another location because in this kind of refined, small restaurant (it has 4 tables) most people would expect to see the kitchen and see the chef creating.

Feels as if this is somebody's dream of a restaurant, with just four tables and food that amazes. It is that.
The menu was inventive and visually appealing, the restaurant is tucked in a small street in a not so fashionable neighborhood but the space itself is pleasant and elegant.
The food is well prepared, well presented, a few wows and also a few things that didn't work so well, specially the desserts, a bit bizarre. The earlier courses were the best, particularly the appetizers.
I didn't give it a higher rating because of the service. The young lady was arrogant and patronizing, doesn't realize that those who come here are used to this type of culinary experience, this is not a place you just stumble on. She acts as if you know nothing of nouveau cuisine, was upset when we didn't ask her advice on wine and then argued about the name of an ingredient ( I ctually had to ask her to come down) asked personal questions of a couple who were visibly uncomfortable about it. Not tactful at all.

Exciting tasting menu with perfect food and great service. Each course was delievered with a nice twist that elevated ”ordanery” ingrediance to excelent dishes. Don’t miss this hidden gem in Barcelona.

Experimental cooking.
Each course was really interesting a d different. The first came without cutlery and we were Instructed to lick the plates. Good fun and broke the silence in the restaurant. The only think I was disappointed in was there were no matched wines Will revisit when the winter menu is out

Experimental food ? Well- experiments can be hugely successful or go horribly wrong! I suspect this Chef knows exactly what he is doing and has certainly perfected his experiments before presentation ! The food is wonderful and all extremely well presented to table.
A very small restaurant with intimate dining in a modern setting. I guess that the ambience can be very different dependant upon other diners- max 12 guests. A memorable and wonderful dining experience.

We had a phenomenal meal here. A truly fantastic experience. A shock to the senses in a really good way!
Some of the courses were mind boggling and some visually stunning but all were utterly delicious. My palate was challenged as was the idea of taste and texture.
The host was lovely, explained everything really well. I’d highly recommend Lab!

We were in Barcelona a couple of weeks ago and my friend made a reservation for this place a couple of months before we went, and what great fortune she was able to get a reservation! The presentation of the food was so creative and beautiful to look at. The smell and taste were amazing, service was unmatched, making the whole experience wonderful. If we ever go back to Barcelona, we will definitely be back!

One of those tiny places in Barcelona where a talented chef flies under the radar screen. We had a lovely, creative tasting menu for 59 euros. Every dish was good and some were amazing. Please support these caring, talented entrants to the superb food scene in the city ... but not so much that it becomes difficult to get a reservation when we next visit.

16 amazing courses. Highly technical preparation. Food was inventive with beautiful presentation. Excellent service that provided explanation with each course. Venue small so reservations required. The tomato is actually a mousse!. This is a GREAT buy!

It did not WOW me to be honest, but I felt this could of been a much more interesting experience if it had been interactive or some form of entertainment because we just sat, we listened to the waitress tell us sort of, what she served us, this could of been done much more professional because the food was cool and inventive, unusual and tasty.We ate it and repeated that 10 times! I felt it lacked a certain something to the point of disinteresting.
