Staff are very gracious, friendly, and accommodating. Room and hotel were clean. Rooms cleaned or towels changed by request. Bed was comfortable. Room was small yet complete. We were able to cook simple meals in the room in the small kitchen that included microwave, cooktop, and electric kettle. Plenty of outlets. Safe in the room for storing valuables such as passports. Shower is small (single stall). Room overlooking garden was fairly quiet. Breakfast (extra charge) was good with a variety of options (croissants, rolls, fresh fruit, meat/ cheese plate, fresh squeezed juice, yogurt and automatic espresso machine). Location in the Gracia area is good - with easy access to laundromat, Casa Vicens and other Barcelona attractions via the Metro. Overall good value and pleasant stay.

We stayed for 5 nights at Aporthotel Silver in August. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It is located in the quiet Gracia neighbourhood which was perfect for us.It is away from the touristy areas but close to shops, and restaurants. It is a 3 min walk to the Fontana Metro station. We bought a Tarjeta T-Casual metro pass which allows for 10 trips on the subway. The subway was very clean and so easy to use and we felt very safe even at 11 at night. The hotel is a gem. The staff was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and well kept. We loved the kitchenette. As soon as we arrived we went to the grocery story and bought food. We ate breakfast in the room every morning and made sandwiches for lunch to take with us. Some days we came back to the hotel and made eggs for lunch. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the rooms had black out electric shutters which were fantastic. We were very grateful to have air conditioning - it was needed. The shower was also very nice. The hotel was very quiet and we loved our stay here. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

We couldn’t have wanted a better place to stay during our four night trip to Barcelona. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern with well equipped kitchenettes that meant we were able to prepare our own breakfasts and light meals. All the staff were friendly and helpful, indeed they welcomed us warmly each time we came to the front reception desk.
The hotel is easy to find - just minutes from the Fontana metro station - a couple of stops on line 3 from the city centre. The local Gracia neighbourhood is a gem, full of interesting shops, bars and places to eat.

The Hotel is located just 100m from a Tube station and 50m from a bus stop that both take you to the central tourist areas in a few minutes. It is situated in the thriving Gracia area which is a more local area with great shops, restaurants, cafes and bakeries. It is away from the busier tourist areas but has lots of life, is really friendly and felt totally safe.
The hotel is modern and extremely clean. The staff were really friendly. The rooms have a sink, hob, microwave and basic equipment that enable you to eat in if you wish after shopping in one of the many local shops.
The hotel is 3 minutes from one of the less popular and less commercialised Gaudi attractions, being Casa Vicens.
The room, hotel and area were a sanctuary away from the extremely busy tourist areas, even in March. Highly recommend this hotel. Would definitely return without hesitation.

The location is good as it is on a relatively quiet street. There are many shops and restaurants in the area. There are some great parks and plazas to visit within easy walking distance. The room was clean and the staff were helpful. There are two areas to note. The bathroom and particularly the shower are small so a person has to be a contortionist to wash one's feet. Secondly there is considerable noise from the surrounding rooms.There is running water, voices, moving chairs, walking, etc. We knew when the people next to us were settled for the night as we could hear them turn off their light switches.

Hello Dennis, many thanks for your opinion. We have different type of rooms, there are junior suites, bigger and rooms with a bath instead of a shower. You can reserve one of those next time. About other guests making noise, please, next time tell at the reception and we can advise the people who make noise, sorry about that. Stayed here a year ago in September 2022. Looked at many places and areas in Barcelona and hoped the reviews were true. And they were.
It’s a small hotel that was in a good location in a safe area for a solo female traveler. Close to metro (about a block away) with many stores, bakeries, and restaurants close by. The room was fine for one person with a small kitchenette and fridge. Comfortable bed and clean room. Breakfast (added cost) was ok with a served plate of hams and cheeses with croissant and a cup of coffee and juice or tea.
Staff was friendly and helpful with any questions and recommendations. I remember having several nice chats with Dafne and she was great. It’s within walking distance to the center (about 20 mins or so) and not in a busy touristy area, which I liked. It was also quiet at night and you would get a good nights sleep.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again especially if you’re traveling solo. Good safe location with a good staff!

This nice little hotel was a great find after trying unsuccessfully to book a good priced hotel during the Sant Jordi celebrations... It is located very near the Passeig the Gracia in the Gracia neighborhood, full of little restaurants, cafes and supermarkets around and within walking distance to some of Barcelona's main attractions, but still far enough to avoid the craze of those areas. Rooms have a small kitchenette so you can prepare your own food if you choose to. They are a bit small but totally functional and very modern, breakfast is good though not buffet style, and the staff is one of the friendliest I've found in Spain. They even have a good, well tuned piano in reception for you to play, which is a great touch. Only issue we had was the AC was not working very well but we just turned it off and the room was comfortable enough to sleep. I'd totally recommend this place to anyone spending a few days in Barcelona

We are due to say here end of Sep and received a very odd message last week stating: 'we are concerned that there may be issues traveling from your country, if you like maybe you can rebook and move the deposit. ' It turns out this hotel has been closed for several months and on their website is showing no rooms for sale until New Year, but are refusing to refund guests despite being unable to provide goods or service. I email them today and they say we are the only people booked - we know this is a lie as we are travelling with friends who booked separately - but they will stay open if we arrive, or worst case put us in a nearby hotel. No thank you! We would like a refund please!

Hello, You're suposed to arrive next 24th September with your friends, we received a message that your friends flight was cancelled and they couldn't come. We only asked you if you're coming or not, as all the rest of the reservations of that dates were being cancelled. We only wanted to know if you are coming or not and we received from you lots of rude mails. It's a pitty that in this situation that we're living we receive this kind of conduct. Luckily most of our customers are lovely. We're 15 people working in this hotel and wonder when we can welcome our guests.Your booking is still confirmed, not cancelled, you reserved a non refundable booking. As an exception we're saving all the deposits for future reservations, we don't want the money, we only try to be kind and understand the situation of our clients. Have a nice day and regards to your friends, they are polite.By the way, you can check that our calendar is open since October, we closed September sales last week due to lack of customers. Spent 3 nights at Aparthotel Silver and it was fantastic. Rooms are simple, clean and have very comfortable beds a small kitchenette with a refrigerator.
The hotel is easy to find, and excellently located as it's seconds from Fontana metro station and around five minutes walk from Pg de Gracia which leads down to Pl. de la Catalunya and on to La Rambla.
The hotel has amazing, friendly staff who speak excellent English and are only too happy to help whatever your request.
I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Fabulous.

Pleasant, modern, and convenient small hotel in Graciá, a fun, walkable neighborhood with few tourists but lots of good restaurants and interesting nearby sites like Gaudí's "Casa Vicens" and "La Pedrera - Casa Milá" Graciá felt less risky and crowded than Las Ramblas. We can see why the family members of our Barcelona friends always stay at Aparthotel Silver. Our reasonably priced suite had a full terrace, kitchen, and large windows. So it was totally worth it to get a suite! Grocery and cheese shops nearby. Friendly hotel staff with good advice. We look forward to staying there again, but will be sure to reserve early since it's popular.

There is a safe in the room - which in my room was located in the wardrobe. The area is very safe! I stayed for 4 nights and walked back late at night and had no problems since it’s near the main road and metro station. The people are very friendly but just be careful of pickpockets around the metro & at metro stations.
