Some of the reception staff were very unwelcoming and unfriendly which did not make a nice atmosphere. The rooms are not sound proof, you are able to hear the people either side of you talking, coughing and sneezing. You can also hear every noise in the hallway as there are gaps under the hotel door. The one good thing about the hotel is the location.

When booking hotel we told them we were booking as our wedding had been cancelled and on arrival to hotel they had given us a upgraded room for our honeymoon I think this bit got lost in translation. The room was perfect and clean and the staff at the hotel were nice and friendly. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Barcelona

We stayed at the Leonardo Hotel Barcelona Las Ramblas for our 20th wedding anniversary, and from the time we arrived until the time we sadly had to leave we enjoyed every minute! The lovely staff had upgraded us to a suite with our own roof terrace and direct access to the rooftop pool and bar. The room was so lovely, it was very spacious and very clean and tidy. We loved the rooftop pool and bar area, it was a really relaxing space to just sit and chill, with the friendliest barman too! All of the staff at the hotel were really kind and considerate, the breakfast was delicious, and the sangria was the best I tasted on the whole trip (and tried quite a few different versions!)
The location is perfect, it was a short walk to Las Ramblas and the Boqueria as well as the metro station, and about a 15 minute walk to the marina area
This is the first hotel I'll be looking at staying in when I return to Barcelona. Thank you for looking after us so well.

In a great location to see all the major sights in Barcelona. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very good with a nice selection and continually refreshed during service. Room was serviced every day. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. There is a safe and a small fridge in the room to store your drinks. Staff are friendly and helpful. Walls are thin so you can hear other guests if they slam their doors. Great hotel for budget conscious people. Has all you need for a short break. Will definitely use again .

The location for the hotel was great as it was slightly off Las Ramblas and the Boqueria Market. Very close to the Liceu metro stop as well so very easy to get to.
The hotel itself was mediocre. The bathroom had a sewage smell at random points at night and the room could use a little updating as it showed signs of wear. I reserved a Comfort room, but believe I was put in a Economy room as it was very, very tiny. If only staying for a short time, or if you only need a room to sleep at night, this hotel could be good for you. If you need a bit of comfort, I'd suggest another place.

While the hotel is conveniently positioned 5 min from Las Ramblas it has some issues(although we didn’t really care). We requested a double bed and where told by front desk staff that the room is ready but they cant provide with double bed (joining 2 beds together) however they will fix it tomorrow and gave us balcony (facing the opposite wall) as compensation. The light was not possible to switch off in bathroom as the light-switch was broken. The walls are very thin so if you are light sleeper you will not get much rest. Interiors and amenities of the rooms are great (if you dont speak English you will not watch TV) The rooms were cleaned very well and the cleaning staff was very nice and friendly . Front desk staff was friendly, polite and very helpful. Any issues we had are just minor inconveniences easily overcome by us but might be major issues for others. All in all I would book the same hotel again if coming back

The room was comfortable, if a little small. Spacious shower with plenty of hot water. The hotel is in a fabulous location, just off the Rambla, great for the gothic quarter and exploring further afield. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Borja on breakfast service, very passionate about Barcelona and the museum’s. Good choice of items for breakfast, which were slightly different each day. I would definitely return. Only downside was the window faced a very tiny courtyard that was like a narrow tube, so couldn’t see the weather or outside at all

Stayed here with my children aged 16 and 14 for 4 nights at the end of July. Hotel is ideally placed jusy minutes walk to the rambles and has a supermarket straight over the road. We had breakfast included and was a good variety which changed daily. Only down side is walls are thin so can hear people returning later in the evening. Staff were so helpful providing us with maps and circling transport links to get around barcelona. The pool area was always tidy and drinks were well priced. Will 100% return here if I come back to Barcelona in the future. As was daughters birthday when away asked if was possible to have some balloons present...as you can see from photos they didn't disappoint 🙈.

Very deceiving photos, very disapointing, highly priced in relation to what you get. Really small room, not very meticulous cleaning, no view, super small shower, weird layout, overall old looking. Weird location in sketchy street althought close to transports and Las Ramblas. Nice staff.

Cute little hotel. And by little, I mean the room was SMALL. You have to bend at the waist so you don’t hit the TV going to the other side of the room. The toilet was so close to the sink counter that you basically had to put your leg under it. The walls were so thin that you could hear every noise around you. The staff were great and answered any and all questions. Nice little beer bar on the corner that came in handy when the hotel bar was closed. Very close to Las Ramblas and food. Also close to metro and the big market that is in las Ramblas.

Forn Boix bakery around the corner is excellent. Turn left out of the hotel, turn right at the junction by the bar, it's on your left hand side just past the church square. less than 5 mins walk. or cut through to the market for food on the go.
There are more places to choose from in the Barcelona area.
