been there for several days. Good and quiet location. The rooms are equipped with everything you need to be ok, not a lot of comfort, but practical
. First day had a very uncomfortable room with a horrible bed. Then I got a room with a terrace and a comfortable bed the second day. Te personnel moved everything for me, even the content of the fridge ... Nice!

The personnel is very helpful and friendly.

Nearby is a supermarket, so you can buy everything you need to cook in the kitchenette in the room.
The hotel is close to the subway, very short commute to downtown.

Hotel price for Barcelona is ok. I would stay there again because you have a chance to fix your own food. Ok, the hotel is not equipped with the latest furniture... But not uncomfortable.

Just got back - had a fab time. The hotel is really clean, room was just right. seperate living/ eating area/ sleeping areas.Big wardrobe, sink and cooking area. shower was absolutely lush !
Less than 5mins from one of the Metro stations so spot on for location.
Only downside was the crappy view (see pics) But for us it didnt realy matter as it was just a place to sleep and get ready in the morning !

Our very first nights in Spain were spent here. Good location, close to metro, bus and supermecado. Felt like a quiet neighborhood. Friendly helpful staff. Within walking distance of parc Guell...don't miss it (and it is FREE) We chose Bonanova because it had a kitchen. Many don't use it so you just need to request the "kitchen package" with cloth, soap etc. Compared to others I would say the kitchen facilities were minimal but evreything you need to prepare a meal. It had a cook top and fridge but I don't recall an oven. The microwave, toaster and kettle are all part of the kitchen package. The room was small... a 1 bedroom felt a bit like a studio. The breakfast is pre-packaged cookies and biscuits with coffee and tea. There is a vending machine for fancier hot drinks.

Excellente service and staff ! Very easy to get to the center of Barcelona with the Line 7 metro in 10 minutes. A few minutes walk for the buses or the metro. There is a small market and shops for any needs. The appartment was cleaned every day and the reception was very kind and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay in the beautiful Barcelona.

Our stay was pleasant because of the helpful staff that was always available. It is a very quiet place , but do not expect a view. Very good and big bathroom and very clean room indeed.Luggage storing service is very handy if you leave late in the day

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days. Very clean rooms and professional, courteous staff.

The location was a safe, upscale neighborhood with groceries stores, restaurants, a church and banks all within a few minutes walking distance. The metro station (El Putxet) was a few blocks away and it took you downtown in about 15-20 minutes.

The only cons were that my room faced the street and was a little noisy due to traffic. The air-conditioning did not work a couple of nights, but I was given a fan and it wasn't hot at that time of year, and also got a 5% discount on my stay.

Solid hotel at an affordable price.

The building is undergoing renovation, we stayed in an older apartment with a terrace with a great view no matter it was very good I think once all apartments are done up it will definitely be a 5 of 5. Very central with plenty of restaurants around plus the apartment has all the facilities to cook - Reception staff excellent

Bonanova is a small appartment hotel, not fancy, down to earth, with everything you would want, while staying in Barcelona: good space, good beds, little kitchen, nice balcony and very nice people to welcome and help you. It is always a pleasure to stay there!

Very convenient but still quiet hotel apartment. Walk to subway station and supermarket in 5 min. Very spacious and clean room with a simple kitchen for simple food. Next to a public library.
Staff are very nice and helpful. They provided us a lot of information about sightseeing and walking. Recommend this hotel apartment if you want to cook simple food by yourself while wish a quiet and convenient place to stay.

I stayed here for a week for a mixture of work conference and leisure. Overall, it was fine, in a decent area, clean and convenient to have a kitchenette. Balcony/terrace was also nice. The main downside was that it was extremely noisy - I was kept awake or woken up most nights either by people talking loudly late, maybe on their own terrace, people coming in late (4am) and talking away for a couple of hours, or the very noisy lift. This is very far from ideal if you need to get up for work or value your sleep at all. Possibly compounded by the fact that the mattress and pillows were EXTREMELY hard and uncomfortable. The hotel made an effort to provide useful amenities on request, e.g. washing up items, kids' films.
