I stayed at the Bonanova Aparthotel for three nights from the 7th May. The reception area is very welcoming and check-in was simple. When I opened the door of the apartment, I was a little surprised to see that it seemed quite small with old-fashioned décor.
Having said that, it was very clean. The bathroom was small but the shower provided ample hot water with good pressure. The place is well-furnished and the mini-kitchen area proved useful for preparing snacks/meals. One thing about the apartment that I think needs improving is the air-conditioning. The air comes in via a single inlet above the door (a second one has been blocked up) and quite simply the flow of air is not powerful enough, even when set to maximum. Another small comment I would like to make is that in the wardrobe there is a small safe, opened with a key available in reception. This could be useful for storing important documents and cash. However, rather strangely, there is a charge for this service. Why? It’s not as if another guest could use it – it’s part of the apartment. Of course, a charge should be made if a key is lost, but I think it’s mean to charge guests extra for something that is already in the room. That’s just my opinion, anyway. There is, however, free Wi-Fi which is good plus there is complimentary tea/coffee and pastries in reception in the morning, which is another nice touch. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The location of the aparthotel is actually excellent. El Putxet station (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat) is about a 3-minute walk away and trains run very frequently to the Pl. Catalunya, a journey of about 10 minutes. A 10-trip ticket (T10) costs less than 10 euros. Overall, I would say that this is actually a very good place to stay in Barcelona and on the whole I was very comfortable there.

Jacobo Nistal, Jon Ortiz-Grascon很熱情, 我發的郵件要求都會幫忙, 由訂花到接收花等等特殊要求

位處於寧靜, 安全的區域
房間有私人露台, 私隱度高
附近有超市等生活設施
Wifi不錯

位處禁區, 不方便停車, 駕駛人士要小心
有24小時接待人員, 沒有早餐但支援充足

性價比不是最佳選擇

Jacobo Nistal, Jon Ortiz-Grascon very warm, I will send e-mail request for help, by order flowers to the special requirements of the receiving flowers, etc.

Place in a quiet, safe area
The rooms have private terraces, high privacy
Nearby supermarkets and other living facilities
Wifi good

Located in the restricted area, inconvenient parking, motorists to be careful
24-hour reception staff, no breakfast but adequate support

Just what we needed! The apartments were a great size and came with a small kitchenette. You can request washing up liquid and sponges etc free of charge. We made dinners and lunches at the apartment sometimes as Barcelona can be expensive! The rooms were always clean and we were surprised to find out that they provide pastries, tea and coffee free every morning. This was perfect to set us up for the day.

The staff were helpful and when we arrived we were very helpfully shown a map and all the sights were pointed out to us. They were also very willing to print off the tickets we booked for the attractions. Note: book Sagrada Familia in advance!! The queues were HUGE. Just book everything in advance its much easier and saves so much time.

The wifi was excellent and we had it in the room. We also had a nice terrace.

It is very close to the FGC station and you can get to Playa Catalunya in ten minutes. Be warned the FGC is different to the metro so you would need separate tickets if buying from this station. However you can walk to places for Catalunya - soak in the environment! There is also a supermarket near the station which is great.

We got a taxi from the airport, cost between 30 and 40 euros...

Overall, loved our stay here and it was excellent value.

this hotel offers little apartments. the one we got was a bit smaller than what they advertised but o.k. - it was quite basic but had a little living room and a kitchen with kettle, electric stove, and a fridge. most of the staff was very nice and helpful and the apartment was clean. there's also a good supermarket nearby. the problem is that tha hotel is located about 4 kilometers from placa catalunya by L7 metro line, and this is too far. the nearest station is about 300 meters away, and when you go from the station to the hotel you have to climb up the street and that is har when you carry your suitcases. the hotel area is not very touristic, so there aren't so many places to go out at night. the room had a very good free wi-fi connection.

Friendly, welcoming, informative staff. Clean and well equipped room - more like a small apartment, with a kitchenette, dining table and two chairs. Not going to win any style awards though, so stay elsewhere if that matters to you. Small reception area, with sofas to one side. Go for one of the rooms at the rear if you're sensitive to noise - saying that I imagine all rooms have the huge heavy duty external blinds to block out both noise and light (mine did).

I wanted to stay specifically in this neighbourhood to be close to friends - it is on the hill behind the centre of Barcelona, so away from marauding stag and hen parties, and general city centre goings-on. The location will likely determine whether you stay here - it is not an area where most tourists venture, even though it is one of Barcelona's more upscale areas (though the buildings are mostly 50s-70s modern). In a city where all too often the restaurants have photos of each plate to help visiting tourists (almost all are dreadful), there are a few good eating places near to Bonanova Suites - Montesquieu for upscale tapas / Catalan cuisine, Bopan for breakfast and tea, Hana Bishi for homely Japanese. Ask around or at Bonanova Suites as there isn't one street full of restaurants/shops, rather things are dotted around.
