Write a reviewBecause we were traveling with our older son, we wanted a place where there would be at least a modicum of privacy. We were not disappointed by the low-moderately priced Bonavena Aparthotel. The room was spacious, divided in two parts by a closet unit, and clean. It had a really nice view of a private garden across the street. It was close to public transportation (the subway
stop 3 blocks and a bus route half a block away). The subway is about 4 stops from the Ramblas, and runs frequently, and is safe. The neighborhood was very quiet, and adorned with Michelin recommended restaurants, of which we ate in several. The staff was helpful. One caveat: the parking lot is underground and very difficult to get in and out of. I wouldn't recommend using it other than to park your car when you arrive and drive off when you leave. But due to the easily public transit, this is entirely feasible.

The hotel is rather far from the centre but at an easy access by any type of transport. The area is clean, quiet and safe. The staff is friendly and professional. Kitchen facilities were ok, but we never used them )
The parking is dramatically small. Even for a relatively small car that we had (Seat Leon). Sometimes they help you to park the car, sometimes not ) and then you get an adventure ) But this was the only difficulty we've come across. And at least this parking is thrice cheaper than any in the city.
I'd recommend this hotel to my friends. I've been to many countries and many hotels - this one is a smart choice )
