We are staying here for 1 week. The hotel is nice and comfortable. The staff is very helpful, but there are some issues. At night, sleep is not guaranteed. Unfortunaly the night auditor does not make night rounds to assure silence during night sleep time. Even we are members of Catalonia rewards we got a room next to stairs. People sit nights on the stairs and talk. The reception staff tries their best but it is exhausting if you have to complain all the time about noise. The walls are really thin and also trough the a/c ventilation you hear everything what's happening next door. The hotel manager should make some changes to assure night sleep for all guests like implementing the night auditor makes hotel rounds to make sure it's quiet at night. The breakfast is very delicious but what I did not understand is why they have 2 peppers on table but no salt? Put 1 salt and 1 pepper and label it. I had to first put some on my plate to see what's in. The guests are not wearing masks properly at breakfast, they wear them under the nose or even below mouth and breakfast staff is not saying anything to those guests. It's worrying to see this during a high incidenz. We also did not get room cleaning yet, somehow it does not work properly, lots of miss communications. In Germany during the pandemic we don't get room cleaning in the hotel until we ask for it, it also saves a lot of money for the hotel and works great, so I said first time at the reception that we don't want room cleaning, that we will say when we will need it. We said twice so far but it did not happen, we made sure the don't disturb sign was not at door so they would come and just vacuum the floor from the sand from the beach, change towels and empty trash but after 5 days it was not cleaned yet, so we have been emptying ourself and taking the trash out. Also there is a bottle of free water on desk at arrival but no glasses for the water? We brought ourself paper Glases from breakfast. Everything else is good. If you are here for business or are a light sleeper than this is not a hotel for you as there are lots of young people staying here not caring for others. Sadly I will have to look for another hotel next time which is a pity because everything else is good in this hotel but the noise makes it impossible to enjoy the stay here.

Dear Client, Thank you for sharing your experience with us, but above all, for your understanding and delicacy when expressing yourself. We are so sorry about the noise situation that we have been experienced in recent weeks in our establishment. The reality is that we have never experienced such a situation like that, and we are very sorry that some of our clients have been upset by the behavior of other guests. Regarding the comments about the cleaning, I have to find out what happened and talk to the people in charge to tell me the reason, but having made the comment with a nickname, I cannot know on what datesyou have stayed or the room number you have had. I would be grateful if you could contact me directly by mail, so that I can contact you and find a solution to the situation you have experienced. For the other hand, we take note about all of your suggestions and we will get to work on them immediately. Thanks again for the respect in your words. I hope to welcome you again in the future. Kindest regards.

We have stayed in Hotel Catalonia Park Guell for 4 days with a group of 38 guests (footballers).

The hotel is situated on a 15 minute walking distance from Park Guell and is just a 5 minute walk away from the nearest underground station (Vallcarca).

Hotel Catalonia Park Guell has 6 floors with different typ of rooms. As we were with a group 38, we booked mostly triple rooms.
The triple rooms are actually double rooms with an extra bed in the room. The rooms are not very big but it can easily accomodate 3 beds. The beds are nice and soft and in good condition.
There is a separate bathroom which is a little small. It has a toilet, washing table and a bath/show combination.
The room has also a tv screen and a safe. There is no minibar available.

On the 6th floor you can find the roofterrace including a pool. Unfortunately it was not te time of the year to use the pool.
The roofterrace is a nice place to hang out and enjoy the sun and watch the view it has.

The staff in the hotel is helpfull escpecially the staff in the bar/reception. They try to help you with all your questions. Their English is okay.
In the reception area you can find the hotelbar and there are several snacks available to enjoy on of the tables or couches they have there.

Breakfast is very good! They have a lot of choices and enoug places availble. We had breakfast at 08:00 in the morning before our training and everything was fresh baked directly out of the oven!
They even made omelets on request for us!

We have really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Catalonia Park Guell. Thanks to all the staff who made our stay unforgetable and a special thanks to Meritxell for the easy contact we had before!

Hopefully we're coming back next year!

The hotels location is great if you want to be slightly out of the city. It’s a 7 minute walk to 2 metro stations where you can be in the centre within about 10 minutes. The metro does however stop at midnight on week days but runs all night Saturday so bare this in mind if you fancy staying out later as it is usual to eat 9:30/10 in Barcelona. A taxi back from Las Ramblas however was only 15€

The rooms were basic and beds comfortable which were cleaned daily however we had a temperamental remote for the television and our safe was broken, there was no locking mechanism

The lobby area appeared a nude seating space however we did not utilise this.

The pool was welcomed after hot days exploring the city however it is a small area. 14 sun loungers all across different levels therefore I took valuables like phone and purse with me when I went in the pool as you did not have sight of your belongings. The pool was cold however this was perfect when trying to cool off from the heat. The pool area does get very very popular from around 16:00 onwards with some people often sitting on the floor poolside

Lastly the hotel itself is very noisy with incredibly thin walls. Even though we did not have breakfast included we were placed next to the restaurant (poor planning) and therefore woken every day about 6:30/7:00 by staff and other guests accessing breakfast

We we’re unfortunate to have guests next to us partying into the night one evening, could hear music, singing, talking and walking around in heels however when I contacted reception they managed this immediately and the noise dramatically reduced so thank you for responding to that efficiently. Unfortunately however due to the thin walls we would still be woken at all hours by people coming in until 5am. The water system however was very loud and you would think someone was in your bathroom whoever they utilised their facilities.

I stayed here in February 2022 for 5 nights in a double room. Prior to arrival, I did get a bit lost trying to find the hotel but when I spoke to reception, I was told I took the wrong exit. Make sure you take the correct exit that leaves from up the escalator at Vallcarca metro station which is only about less than 10 mins walk, otherwise you will walking about 30 mins through a lot of steep roads. Upon entering my room, I was in room number 326 on the 3rd floor looking out onto a quiet road, the view didn't bother me but the room was nice, clean and modern with nice open wardrobe to put your clothes. I travelled alone and they gave me a double room which was made up or 2 beds pushed together. I didn't mind that as I could alternate which side to sleep on, have extra pillows and bedding. There was a safe in the room but I didn't really use it as I locked myself out of the safe when trying to use it and couldn't be bothered to ask to reset it lol, but I didn't mind as just used the main door for security.
There was amenities in the bathroom such as little, cute bottles of shampoo, soap, shower cap etc. I did find the little bottles a bit small and wasn't sure if one was was enough so I had to ask reception for more shampoo which wasn't a problem. There was option for room service but I did not use it. I was quite surprised that there wasn't a mini bar or a tea/coffee facilities which would have been a nice extra touch to make the stay a bit more special but that didn't bother me either as I simply was able to buy some food from the supermarket to take back to my room or eat out instead. Throughout my stay, I went exploring everyday and if I was unsure how to get to somewhere, the reception team was very helpful in assisting me. Overall, I had a very nice stay and would definitely recommend staying here.

This is our third visit to this hotel. We chose this hotel due to its close location to Quironsalud hospital where we needed to attend an appointment.
Upon arrival we asked if it was possible to upgrade to a room with a terrace. The reception team were extremely accommodating and upgraded us to a premium terrace room. This happened to be the exact same room that we stayed in last time we were here. This room had a stunning view across the city. The room was spotless upon arrival and had some added extras due to being a rewards member. The housekeeping team cleaned the room daily to a high standard and replenished everything we needed. We dined in the restaurant on a couple of occasions and the restaurant team were outstanding. The food was delicious and our glasses were never empty long. On our day of departure we enquired to whether we could have a late checkout and once again the staff excelled themselves and honoured this without charge.
The hotel did have multiple groups of students staying and they caused a lot of noise but this was no reflection on the hotel team.
We would not hesitate to stay here again in the future. All the staff were amazing and we had a fantastic time.

Had an absolutely fantastic 4-night stay here. The reception staff went above and beyond and were super friendly, the location of the hotel is great - views are superb and generally in a quiet and relaxing neighbourhood. Rooms are exceptionally clean and tidy and the pool was great for many morning dips. Will definitely be returning.

I booked this hotel for a visit of my mother and stepfather, the hotel is in the hills of Barcelona and build in such a bad way that you can not actually stop in front of the hotel to load or unload, my parents are 84 and 78 and they had the hardest time even getting out of the car quickly enough as the only spot to park is actually on the pedestrian zebra stripes. Terrible way to build a hotel. The rooms are very small, smallest I have ever seen in a hotel of such a high price, and even paying over 600 Euros for 3 nights the breakfast was not included. My parents asked the hotel to book them a taxi and they failed completely on 3 separate occasions, also wifi and overall customer attention was very poor, the view from the rooms over the city was nice, that is the only good thing I have to mention

Enjoyed the stay at Catalonia Park Guell Hotel. Staff were very helpful and courteous at all times. The rooms were clean and well presented. Food on offer in the bar/dining area was excellent and good value for money. The price per night was also excellent.
The Metro was only about a 5 minute walk away so made for easy transportation into the city centre.
The only downside was the rooftop pool was not heated so therefore was slightly nippy in January...lol
Overall I would highly recommend the hotel to any visitors to Barcelona.

The room assigned did not correspond to the photographs published on the hotel's website, where I actually made the reservation. Small room, broken wall and floor covering, damaged furniture, miserable mattress and pillows. Bathroom is tiny to the point where the door doesn't open completely, hitting the toilet! "Window" communicating with the bathroom in the next room! Never seen before!
3 night stay in which we were placed in a room on the second floor, in front of the stairs. During th stay, a group of teenagers on a school trip stayed. 3 nights of hearing screams and confusion in the hallways at night. The sound insulation is so bad that it felt like we were sleeping with the door open!
We complained to reception and they told us that the rooms were standard and that the night receptionist did not hear any noise. We asked to be placed in a more isolated room away from the group and nothing was done. Zero availability to provide us with a good experience and stay. The least they should have done was consider accommodating a couple for 3 nights away from a group of teenagers from the beginning.
Hotel undergoing renovations but it had no impact on our stay. Very good breakfast for a 3 star hotel. Positive point!
Unfortunately the only one. Not to be repeated!
