We have just stayed here 408 for 3 nights. Good location , easy to get bus , metro or walk ( which we did) . Staff are helpful.

Room was good size , bath & shower. Very clean and bonus of having an balcony, not much of a view but nice touch . No fridge in room but each floor has fridges with free bottles of water . Also coffee machine in reception free .

Breakfast was great choice, fruit , cake , bread , eggs sausage bacon , fruit juice , tea & coffee. Only thing that was missing was music in the breakfast area would be better then silent .

Good location , food restaurant, cafes , supermarket across the road. Would recommend this hotel.

Thank you for a Lovely stay.

Very nice hotel. Room was very clean and comfortable, no view from window but room had decent light. Liked the bathroom which had a large shower. Breakfast was fine and there are mini bars with free water bottles on each floor. Good hotel for walkers but very near a few different metro stations and v13 bus drops you from Las Ramblas to across the road from the hotel. Busses into centre around the corner, very close. Found it easy to navigate with TCasual card. Casa Batllo, Casa Milla and passeig de Gracia all within 10/15 mins walking distance.

The location is very good and central. The hotel is very dark, no tea or coffee facilities either in the room or in the central areas. No cooler in the room and only a fridge on each floor containing water which you had to be quick to get any.
We had a superior room with a terrace which overlooked a building site and our other room had no natural light, the window was covered by a curtain which blocked out what appeared to be a lift shaft.
The breakfast was really good though, the air conditioning very poor and the beds are like rock. I mean sleeping on the floor would actually be more comfortable.
The hotel is nice and clean but desperately needs brightening up, everywhere is very dark especially the rooms.
Would I stay again? Nah not a chance, we had a brilliant time in Barcelona but the hotel and the staff were definitely not memorable, look for an alternative!

The hotel refused to clean my room after 2 PM. And neither did they tell me before that they had a cut-off for cleaning. This is not an acceptable level of service for a 3 star hotel, especially when your (high) room rate includes that service charge for room cleaning. They refused to make a gesture to correct this point.
The room had No sunlight or external ventilation. It also, weirdly enough, had the basin in the room and not the bathroom. meaning you made a mess of the room, each time you washed your face.
Avoid this hotel if you can.
I wont be using it again.

First time at this hotel and I have no complaints really.
Room (201) was spacious and silent as it faces a very small interior patio, which the only downside is that it got no natural light at all, but I preferred that than facing the busy and noisy street Aribau which the hotel is located on. There are also rooms facing the rear part of the building but I was aware that construction is currently going on and could be quite noisy too.

Front desk are very polite and welcoming!
You have on each floor a couple of mini bars in the hallway with complimentary water bottles which was great.
Also vending machines on the ground floor where reception is.
All in all a good experience and would return in the future, but once the construction is over so I can have room with natural light without being affected by the noise.

Rooms are clean, very dark no light at all besides the side bed lamps. Rooms very tiny but the bathroom is spacious. The drilling goes on throughout the day because of the building next door starts from 8am to 6pm. When its time to check out you check out and can't be allowed to check in earlier no matter what (they do offer to store your luggage)

A nicely appointed hotel in the centre of Barcelona with great rooms and shower was a treat. We were there over New Year, only breakfasts available but hey it was surrounded bith loads of very good local restaurants.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would certainly use this hotel again when we are back to do some more site seeing.

This is a nice clean hotel on the outskirts of the busier areas. Great location if you don’t mind walking. Staff friendly and breakfast was nice.
Bed a little hard and no kettle in the room but there is a free coffee machine in the lobby and also free bottles of water in mini fridges on each floor and in the lobby.

Nice little hotel that only lacked tea and coffee facilities. In easy reach of restaurants, bars and shops. We walked to a lot of the sights but the city tour buses are a good option for the ones further afield or if you aren’t used to walking far. A good tasting menu restaurant that isn’t well known is the Fastuc, very near to the hotel.

Hotel very clean but a bit remote for looking around Barcelona. We were going on a cruise and the person on reception wasn’t very helpful when we wanted a taxi to get us there. The road was closed and he just said we should walk to get a taxi, even though he could have ordered a taxi to get us there from a road that was open a few seconds away from the hotel. We were not impressed!

Very comfortable room and quiet.

Check Google maps as it is very useful and will show you the route. You basically need to take the Aerobus from the Airport to Plaza Universitat (3 stops) then catch another bus from Aribau street/Plaza Universitat up until Diagonal.

It's about 10-15 minutes walk either from Avinguda Diagonal or La Pedrera (Diagonal Metro) as the hotel is about half way between these stops.
