The positives: Amazing rooms, very comfortable beds and a beautiful pool!
Negatives: Terrible service and bad communication from staff.
We booked two rooms here for a weekends staycation with check in at 5 and check out at 5 the next day. We arrived at 5pm and then had to line up for 90 minutes to check in. Not exactly a great start to the trip.
When we asked about booking the restaurant, we were told to contact them directly. We called down to the restaurant several times to book our lunch only to find the phones ringing off the hook. Eventually someone answered and told us they would call us back. 3 hours later we went down to The Astor (The restaurant) ourselves because we had not heard back. The man behind the counter brushed us off and was very rude and unapologetic when we queried why we had not been called back and he basically told us that lots of people were calling so they couldn't be bothered.
The next day we arrived for breakfast at 9:30 am. The line was already extremely long despite there being a number of vacant tables in the venue. We were only seated at 10am and there were still about 30 or more people in line at that point who would have only been seated well after us. Now, I am well aware that breakfast is served until 10:30 but, surely, if you can see people still waiting to be seated at that time you would extend the time a bit or at least communicate with guests 10 minutes before clearing the buffet? I had to wait 10 minutes for an egg and ended up only having one small plate at the buffet so I could have very well just ordered a MacBreakfast at that point. Clear communication would have absolutely helped clear up any frustration I was feeling at that point but I was left bitterly disappointed and the staff just shrugged it off.
The only redeeming factor was the pool. Time slots were well managed and the staff were friendly and communicative.
If you are looking for a relaxing stay at a well-managed establishment, perhaps consider other options.

First of all thank you for staying with us. We much appreciate the support from the LGBTQ+ community and their allies as we are working diligently to provide a safe inclusive, welcoming and relaxing space for all.
Your review hits us hard during a time where the hospitality industry is under immense pressure with closed borders and no international travel, much reduced room rates, discounts and promotions, lack of available manning and most of all intense government social distancing rules. In fact empty tables are the result of us not being allowed to use more than 50% of the restaurants capacity and breach of these rules can lead to closure.
In the past year, whilst implementing social distancing measures with much reduced capacities, opening hours and even dining period closures, we had to significantly increase hygiene and safety measures, implement a vast number of additional government required processes, experienced food prices and supply being limited putting pressure on costs, room rates being much lower affecting revenues, all of which are resulting in immense pressure on people working in this industry.
Whilst I do understand your disappointment and would truly like to apologise for your experience, I do hope that maybe you might be more lenient with the hotels, bars and restaurants you will choose in future, as I am sure they are trying their best amongst very difficult conditions. We are always happy to receive feedback so we can improve, but do know that public reviews like yours can be detrimental to businesses and the people who depend on it.
I hope we can welcome you back sometime soon and make sure that you will enjoy your time with us a lot more.

Good to be relaxed in Eaton hotel. A clean room. Good services. Staffs are helpful to let us delay check out. The hotel is located in Nathan Road so many restaurant nearby. There are convenient shop and cafe opposite to the hotel. Good location.

Having a long stay in Eaton HK for more than a year. All of the staff are nice and energetic. With the smile and their service you feel like being at home. The room is nice but the TV need to update or change to gain more score. The gym used to be 24-hr which facilitate everyone but due to COVID it doesn’t allow me to go in the very late night which is a bit waste. The pool is wonderful for photo shooting. Especially recommend the landscape via the escalator at near the sunset time.
Eaton is LGBT friendly hotel and offering many different cultural and art exhibitions. You could feel and learn how the city is.
The food and service in Astor ( the restaurant ) is nice. Don’t miss their buffet breakfast. If you eat alone, can try the food court which various of yummy dishes.
Overall it is nice experience! Thanks Eaton.

The hotel is Clean with a great restaurant. It is in a good location. The Garage entrance odd. The Room phone did not work. These are Minor issues. This is a good hotel that is near many businesses. The staff is friendly.
