Such a great oasis in the middle of Barcelona! The hotel is beautiful and rooms incredibly spacious and clean with super sleek design that is modern and warm. The rooftop pool has such a stunning view and the bar is so great! The front desk reception and all staff are so incredibly helpful, warm and friendly that I would absolutely come back again. Totally planning on making the Yurbban Passage "my" hotel whenever I come to Barcelona!

Super great stay.
Located in the heart of the city.
Very kind staff.
Rooftop is one of the best we visited in Barca, the view is wonderful, the pool is large and really nice.
The room was literally disinfected before our check-in, all the measures were taken for our safety and the safety of the staff (temperature, hydrohalcoholic gel etc).
Could be improved: the breakfast is really not nice (very little choice and bad quality), the amount of sun bed on the rooftop should be improved

his is definitely one of the best hotels we had ever stayed in. Everything there is perfect: location, staff, service, food, terrace with pool. We arrived a little bit before the check in time and were given a room almost right away along with welcoming glass of Cava. While we were waiting at the hotel manager gave us few recommendations about restaurants and places to visit. We got a terrace room and it was great, you can enjoy sunrise every morning with cup of coffee. The terrace on the rooftop is amazing and so is the view. You can relax on the sunbed, have a drink, snack and dip in the pool. Pools is not deep enough to have a regular swim but its a great option to have a splash. I have to mention our bartender Andrea who made our time in Yurbban Passage even greater :)!! They serve breakfast every morning (cost of $19 euro per person unless you have it paid with your room) and the choice of food served is fantastic, it is really worth the price. Besides a buffet like table with meats, juices, cheese and sweets you get to order few options from the kitchen along with coffee. You can even have a glass of wine or Cava :) The staff is AMAZING, we had few questions and needs along the way and everything was provided to us swiftly. After Barcelona we went to Italy but were coming back for last few days so we were offered a discount for the room as returning guests and left some baggage for storage. I cannot say how nice are the people working there. There is one more thing as somebody mentioned in the review, the hotel uses their own line of fragrance and beauty products and the whole complex smells soooo good. All the was and hair product will leave you with this amazing smell. We loved it so much that I had to buy a room fragrnace from them so it can remind us at home of this gorgeous stay we had in Yurbban Hotel. We will definitely come back one day :) The last thing is location--it is close to everything you want to explore in Barcelona, shops, La Rambla, metro, coffee, restaurants.

As an extension to a family event in France, we stayed at Yurbban Passage for an additional 8 days in July 2022. We arrived after midnight, as our flight from Marseille was delayed. I cannot emphasize enough how nice the staff there were. We were greeted with a smile and the manager took our luggage to our waiting room, refusing even a tip. Our room was pristine with king bed and a balcony. Bottles of water are provided each day, and the room is cleaned with new bedding and bathroom supplies.
We found the concierge, Margerie, to be especially helpful, as I have celiac and needed a lot of help finding restaurants that offer a variety of gluten free options. She speaks fluent English, as do most of the staff. Her personal attention to our needs made our trip very enjoyable and efficient. She is a valuable asset to this hotel, and we hope that she is recognized as such by her employer.
The hotel is conveniently located to many of Barcelona's attractions, some of which are within walking distance. There is a Lidl grocery store next door to the hotel, which is useful for buying snacks and small refrigerated items (small frig in each room). Note that the items provided by the hotel in the refrigerator are not free.
As are most large city hotel rooms, our room was fairly small. There was one small closet with some shelves and space for hanging clothes. Also, the bed was high enough to allow for our suitcases to be stored under the bed. However, the hotel does also offer to store luggage for you if you prefer. The bathroom was spacious enough, but some additional storage there would also have been helpful. We found the limited space to be only a minor inconvenience. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfectly located hotel & spa, 5 mint from Metro and Airport bus. We were warmly greeted and given an explanation on all the amenities. The room was clean and spacious.

The terrace has an amazing view an gets plenty of sunshine. The pool is not big enough to do "laps" (waist deep) but perfect for cooling off with a drink. Good seating options if you're there early.

The Spa is hidden away nicely and very private, treatments are pricey but worth it. The included seated breakfast was delicious, you won't go hungry. Bikes are available to borrow free of charge but small people will find them too big.

Only negative point was the bedroom missing a trash bin, after a while used water bottles and receipts began to pile up (probbaly a Covid thing).

Overall a great Experience thanks to the kind staff!

I'm a hotel snob and I am so glad I picked this hotel in Barcelona. Yurbban Passage is an excellent property conveniently located in the center of town, but not directly in the heart of a busy area or tourist trap (i.e., Gothic Quarter, Raval).

The hotel is beautifully designed, staff were nice and helpful (spoke English fluently), and the rooms were of good size and very modern! The toiletries were amazing and the bed was comfy. The hotel serves a complimentary happy hour each night at 6:30 pm for an hour and they have wonderful spa facilities.

There are some great restaurants nearby that you have to try. I didn't realize till the second day that there was a maze of alleys and courtyards behind the hotel that lead to different parts of the city. There I found Elsa and Fred's and Casa Lolea once I made way through the hotel passage. If you can't get a seat at Casa Lolea, go to it's sister restaurant called Casa Rafols nearby. I also loved the street the hotel was on and the neighborhood. There was a men's barber and tattoo shop called Elijah's -- highly-rated in Barcelona. There's also small and modern grocery store, so I stocked up on some orange juice and snacks for the morning. The neighborhood is also very charming and walkable with a ton of restaurants, cafes and shops. The Urquinaona metro is a 5 minute walk, so public transit is accessible. I found it easy to use and costs 2 euro 50 cents for a single ride.

I'm definitely visiting Barcelona again and will stay at Yurbban Passage.

Choosing this place to stay was a great decision. We have stayed here for 4 nights and couldn’t have asked for anything more! We had a room upgrade which was a nice surprise. Check in process with Lucia was a pleasure. She has explained everything in details and made sure we felt welcomed. The attention to detail in the rooms as well as common spaces is incredible. The quality of breakfast is high with a variety of options and Lluis who has served us during our stay was very professional. The hotel is located nearby everything you need to see in Barcelona. We also rented a bike which was free to go around the city and explore. The rooftop bar and pool is just the place to relax. Georgina who has served our amazing drinks was really friendly and made us feel very special.
Lastly, the check out process was very brief and professional with Jezabel.
If you want to stay in heaven this is the place!!!

I selected this hotel based on its location within Barcelona and room offering (a private balcony) along with its affordable price. The breakfast was the best of the 4 hotels we stayed at on our two week visit to Spain. I liked the top floor's bar/light dining area. The prices were reasonable and the views were good. The laundry room was a nice plus given that we packed lightly. With that, the times on the washer for the cycle selected were guidelines, and were much less in actuality.

The only negatives were with the SPA, and I shared this with the front desk. On all 3 occasions, time was wasted in showing us to our assigned area. While I thought we were allowed to stay for an hour, 30 minutes was all, and this was certainly not enough time. The hours that the SPA was open was also less that one would expect. If allowed to rate the SPA, I would give it a maximum of two stars.

Overall, I was very pleased with this hotel and hope to stay here again in the future.

We had amazing time in Yurbban Passage hotel - staff is incredibly friendly and polite.

While you checking in you are offered a glass of cava.
Because our room wasn’t ready when we arrived we wen for a lunch .

Most of the Barcelona landmarks are close by to the hotel.

We walked to Zoo, Sagrada Familia, the beach and few others.

Perfect spot for a lunch ( Honest greens - amazing coffee , great food and it is very affordable)

Every evening hotel has its wine tasting hour (18:30-19:30) where you can enjoy wine free of charge:) little touches but really the make a difference.

We will be coming back for sure!!!!

I stayed here for a week while on business. It was amazing in every sense of the word. My first international trip since covid shut everything down.

1. The room was great in every sense with fast wifi, nice beds and shower. Guests can borrow a mobile wifi device through which they can have internet access when away from the hotel. Free! Saves on having to buy local SIM card.

2. Spa ... wow!! Guests can book (free of charge) an hour in the spa each day. This gives u access to a dry sauna, wet sauna and pool with jets. A great way to wind down the day. There’s also a rooftop pool.

3. The staff were the best part of the hotel. Super attentive. Any matters attended to right away. Special nod to Jezabel who was terrific.

Will definitely return here in the future.

Yes, you can, but you have to reserve a spot. It's free.

Yes it is free for the guests of the hotel. No need to book a spa treatment. However it is recommended to make a reservation because indoor pool/spa area is not that big. There is no hot tub/jacuzzi but there is a sauna, steam room and jets and bubbles in the pool.
