Whether it’s publishing, the music industry or manufacturing, technology remains a major disruptor across various sectors. So, what lessons can publishers take from other tech-driven transformations?  At the recent Paid Content Summit, hosted by BILD and Welt, our CEO Mathias Döpfner suggested that publishers should emulate record labels by identifying, developing, and investing in journalistic talent and creating a creative ecosystem in which they can thrive. This is just one takeaway from the summit, which brought together over 80 international media industry representatives to examine the current and future landscape of premium journalistic content and the impact of AI on the industry. Bonjour, France! Last week, the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity brought together the advertising and communications industry in the South of France. This weekend, thousands of people took to the streets of Warsaw to demand a new era of LGBTQI+ rights in response to the increasing threats these communities have faced in Poland in recent years. Our LGBTQI+ umbrella network, Queerseite, joined the Pride Parade to show support and solidarity.    Together with the crowd, our employees turned the streets in the heart of the Polish capital into a rainbow of colors, standing up for diversity and a free, open society. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere was in stark contrast to last year, when rainbow flags were openly burned. Dyn Media GmbH is transforming the sports media market with AI. How? For instance, by using AI-driven cameras that automatically track the ball during matches, viewers can seamlessly keep up with the game's pace, thereby getting the best user experience. Additionally, this approach makes sports streaming much more sustainable because it requires less equipment, which does not need to be transported for every match. The sports streaming service is setting new industry benchmarks through its adoption of AI. This strategy underscores Dyn’s mission: focusing on sports such as handball and basketball in their broadcasting lineup, which are often overshadowed by soccer, thereby broadening the diversity of the sports landscape. The AI approach also improves the accessibility of streaming for German sports leagues, further democratizing sports participation and viewership.
