For two days, they collaborated on-site, remotely, and in hybrid mode to tackle real-world challenges using cutting-edge technology, including AI 🤖 Shoutout to one team in particular: Team 42. Their innovative solution to streamline access to reliable, up-to-date information and identify the right expert contacts within The Stepstone Group truly stood out.     Who are the most attractive employers for students in Germany? 💼   Once a year, Universum sets itself the challenge of finding out. The result: the Student Talent Survey 2024. For Germany this includes more than 30,000 students from over 200 universities in almost 150 areas of study. Among other things, the respondents provided information on the companies they would like to work for, the criteria they use to evaluate employers, their salary expectations and their long-term career goals.   Here are some of the most interesting key learnings for 2024: 💪 Gen Z is just as ambitious as other age groups.     How can we build an even safer space for LGBTQ+? 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️   Last week, colleagues from across our business - Sales Training, Procurement, Recruiting, etc. - came together in a workshop to talk about how we can create an even better workplace for LGBTQ+ people. Our Axel Springer colleague Eugen Buica (AVIV Group) led us through the three-hour workshop. After discussing the difficulties faced by LGBTQ+ people, participants moved into focus groups to find solutions that can be applied within The Stepstone Group - from small adjustments that can make a big difference to major strategic changes. With Pride - our LGBTQ+ network - are now taking these forward for assessment and implementation. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Eugen once again for showing us in the workshop how easy it can be to create an open and safe atmosphere 💙   #WeRadicallyInclude #WeAreBetterTogether #DEI

    Did you know July is Disability Pride Month? ✨ Our Accessibility vision shows our commitment to being accessible to people with disabilities and to work towards globally recognized accessibility standards for our digital products and services. Over the past few weeks, we’ve held a number of initiatives to mark our progress towards this goal, especially in spreading awareness about accessibility challenges among colleagues and external partners. Christopher Patnoe, EMEA Head of Accessibility and Disability Inclusion at Google, joined a few of these activities and reflected: “What was interesting to me was finally speaking to people ‘outside the choir.’ Too often we say the same things to the same people, and we all agree wildly…. Then we wonder why things aren’t changing. What The Stepstone Group has built was an opportunity to raise awareness of the opportunities of the intersection of AI and Accessibility to a new audience.” Here are some of the ways we’re working towards our Accessibility mission: ⚖️ Hosted the AbilityNet European Accessibility Act Forum in London, bringing together industry leaders to discuss key legislation. 🔬 Mimouna Mahdaoui launched our Accessibility Lab tour, engaging over 200 colleagues with exercises to promote an accessibility-first approach. 🎂 Celebrated the 2nd anniversary of our Champions of Accessibility group with guest speaker Molly Barnes, a leader in digital accessibility. 🤝 Held a Meetup with specialists on AI, fairness, ethics, and accessibility, fostering inclusive product development. #DisabilityPrideMonth #Inclusion #Accessibility #AI #RadicallyInclude

    How can companies encourage knowledge transfer between the oldest and youngest workforce? 👨🎓👵 We took part in this year's Talent Camp organized by Handelsblatt Media Group to discuss the current labor market, tech and AI, lifelong learning and much more at eye level with students and young professionals. All with the aim of actively shaping our future. Our colleagues Franziska Eckhardt and Dr. Tobias Zimmermann not only had their own questions for the youngest generation of workers but also brought exclusive insights into the topic of multigenerational workforce with them: “Companies need to think ahead when it comes to the multigenerational workforce gap.
