What are the most effective ways to lead technology commercialization projects?
The type and quantum of funding you will need will depend on what problem you are solving. Contrary to what you may read in mainstream media, only a very small number of ideas are suitable for venture capital funding. Chasing VC. If your idea is not really suitable, you can end up wasting a lot of time chasing capital unsuccessfully or even worse, end up raising money from a mediocre VC. For an idea to be VC backable, it must fulfil a number of criteria but generally, you should have a product that solves a big problem, you must either already have or soon be able to create a formidable barrier to entry for others and have a plan in place to acquire distribution for your product at a reasonable cost.
