Let us take you back to Wycliffe's childhood.... It's at the heart of Blue Turaco coffee. Let's go! 💙

Sometimes I reflect on my journey and kneel down to give thanks Building a successful BLUE TURACO COFFEE has far deeper meaning than you think. To understand my personal mission properly.… LET ME TAKE YOU BACK ...to my primary school days. Every morning, I would walk 8 kilometers to school and 8 kilometers back home - that’s a total 16 kilometers each day. These days, it is a struggle to get my 10,000 steps a day in! The distance was challenging, but the real hardship was hunger. After the a long walk, I would spend the entire school day without lunch because my family couldn't afford it. Even worse, I often wasn't sure if there would be any food waiting for me at home. The hunger and uncertainty over when the next meal would come, were my constant companions for at least three years of lower primary school. I made a vow to myself: if I ever had the means, I would work tirelessly to eliminate childhood hunger in village schools like the one I attended. This vow has been my driving force, and it's a commitment embedded in the very fabric of BLUE TURACO COFFEE and every project I work on in Uganda. I will share more about our village Schools Feeding Program in the following days and weeks. In the meantime, it’s good to know that for every pack sold, we provide 2 schools meals in Ugandan village schools If you haven’t tried yet – you can find a link in the comments that will give you a discount too. #mywhy #coffee #personalmissions #thankyou #gratiful #resilience
