Wow, what an amazingly insightful day at Red Bull London! They showed the younger brands in the Co-op incubator program why they still have the mindset of a #challenger , even though they are one of the most well-known #brands in the world. This, of course, did not happen overnight, and Damian Marshall, Lotte Tregear, and Natalie Duvall of March Muses expertly demonstrated what it takes to be a brand leader. Thank you to the Co-op for organizing this event, especially to Jack Clayton Rebecca Oliver-Mooney, Jo Bishop and Kelly Orme You have created something truly special in the #apiary. As for what we, as small, humble challenger brands, learned… what didn’t we learn? But if I had to sum it up in four points, it would be: - Share toys - Long game - Storytelling - Bubble tea 😉 Also great seeing .. Never work with kids or animals 🐰 …unless there’s cake involved! Just before Easter my fellow Co-op Apiary food founder Samina Courtin of Mon Dessert | B Corp™ did a little social collab. A competition to win her fab Easter bunny baking kit. I filmed a reel with the kids making it. They loved getting involved but wanted to share every single step equally- lots of negotiations on my part (like how to split cracking 2 eggs 3 ways! 🤔) When it came to icing the cake, the kids totally surprised me. Florence had apparently been watching YouTube tutorials on how to pipe icing and did it perfectly. Technology hey!
