An evening with Women In The Food Industry 💚 I’ve been coming to their events since before I launched The Woolf's Kitchen so it was a joy to finally be on one of their panels. The discussion was around healthy eating and I have to say I learnt a lot! 💚 Nicola Moore told us that eating a salad at a BBQ before the main event acts as a kind of mesh, helping to offset some of the less healthy elements. Salad for starters it is! 🧑🏻🍳 Amber Francis who works at Chefs in Schools told us how important choice plays in teenagers trying new foods and how her weekly ‘Try it Tuesday’ has been a success in encouraging kids to try new foods including raw wild garlic 🧄 We had tastings from Natasha Shamji from Seedy Snacks & Kristal from Live Luxwells as well as some of my The Woolf's Kitchen products Mex (Mecca) Ibrahim also brought along Anna Chalov's award-winning Bemuse | B Corp™ non alcoholic honey wine to try. krushna ananda of YEM YOM VENTURES LIMITED also surprised us with tasty bags of plantain crisps.
