We love our Youth Judges. 🖤 Youth Judges bring a truly fresh perspective to the judging process which we are so grateful for. They're all hugely talented, killing it in their industries and it blows our minds how much they're already achieving. 🤯 Evenfields, the home of the Black Talent Awards, is all about the Gen Z voice and many of our Youth Judges are now Senior Judges, and some are part of the core team running the Awards! Want to join us as a youth judge next year? Keep your eyes on our pages so you're the first to hear updates.

Are you playing your part in supporting the Black community? The 2017 Race Disparity Audit found that Black women are the group most likely to have experienced a common mental disorder such as anxiety or depression and that Black men are the group most likely to have experienced a psychotic disorder. This is why Black Minds Matter UK exists. At the BTAs, we're big on celebrating brilliant Black talent. However, if our basic needs of good mental health aren't met, what good are we for any role or leadership position? So, we're holding a Gospel Fundraiser, to raise funds for Black Minds Matter UK and support their crucial mission of connecting Black individuals and families with free therapy by qualified and accredited Black therapists. We'll be hearing from Denise Myers, Anita Bhalla & Danielle Bridge with music from B:Music, The BIMM Birmingham Gospel Choir and DJ Mexy. This is the perfect opportunity to come together as a team, ERG or individual to network and raise funds for a great cause with other members of the #BTAFamily. Head to https://lnkd.in/egi3FVHC for more info and to let us know you're coming. We'll see you on Tuesday. 🖤
