Central min enquires developmental works in Waltair Div
VISAKHAPATNAM: The Union minister of civil aviation, K Rammohan Naidu, keenly reviewed the advancement of Amrit stations, train stoppages and extensions, under scoring his commitment to enhancing connectivity and passenger amenities within AP.
The minister undertook a comprehensive visit to the office of the divisional Railway manager (DRM), Waltair on Tuesday.
Accompanied by Members of Parliament, MP Visakhapatnam M Sribharat, MP Vizianagaram K Appala Naidu, the Minister was briefed by DRM Waltair, Saurabh Prasad, on infrastructural and developmental initiatives underway across the division.
During the interaction, DRM Waltair Saurabh Prasad outlined the progress of ongoing infrastructure projects, including station redevelopment works and other key developmental activities.
Expressing satisfaction with the ongoing passenger amenity works, minister Rammohan Naidu emphasized the importance of broadening the scope of improvements across railway stations in Andhra Pradesh. He expressed his full support in expediting pending works requiring coordination with state authorities and other departments.
