Belagavi man killed in Chorla Ghat road crash

Valpoi: Sanket Lohar, 27, a resident of Belagavi, died in a road accident at Chorla ghat on Saturday after his four-wheeler veered off the road.
According to police reports, Lohar and another individual who was driving the SUV, were travelling to Goa from Belagavi when the person lost control of the SUV and dashed into a tree.
Due to the severe impact of the collision, Lohar was grievously injured.He was rushed to the community health centre at Sanquelim where doctors on duty declared him brought dead. Police have conducted the panchanama. Investigation is ongoing.
