Need-based changes: MP meets CHB residents’ body
Chandigarh: MP Manish Tewari on Saturday met with members of the Chandigarh Housing Board Residents’ Welfare Federation to listen to their grievances.
The meeting was organised by Congress municipal councillor Gurpreet Singh.
Tewari was apprised of the lingering issue of the need-based changes in the CHB houses in the city.
The representatives, in a detailed discussion, told him that a one-time Delhi solution is the only fit remedy to get permanent relief for the people.

Tewari assured the representatives that he would write to the administrator about the issue as a first step, followed up by asking the board officials to immediately stop all ongoing action against CHB residents regarding so-called violations.
