Hello, fellow Las Vegans! I'm proud to call this city home, having been born and raised right here in our bustling community. Growing up, I had the opportunity to experience the diverse neighborhoods of Las Vegas, attending various schools across the valley before graduating from Mojave High School in 2004.

With a passion for business, I pursued a degree in management, laying the groundwork for my entrepreneurial journey. In 2018, I founded Justice Mobile Notary LLC, driven by a commitment to providing essential services while contributing to the local economy.

Family is at the heart of everything I do. As a dedicated parent to four wonderful children, I understand the importance of community and the need to give back. Over the years, I've volunteered extensively with organizations such as the Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, and PTO, fostering youth development and community engagement.

Recognizing the potential for positive change, I established SHARE - Strategic Hub for Achieving Results LLC, a platform dedicated to strategic planning and community advancement.

On a personal note, I'm eagerly preparing for my upcoming wedding in July 2024, a joyful milestone in my life.

My decision to run for Assembly District 29 stems from a deep-rooted commitment to service and a belief in the power of collaboration. Together, let's work towards a brighter future for our community, driven by innovation, unity, and progress.

  • Economic Empowerment: I am committed to fostering economic growth and creating opportunities for small businesses to thrive, ultimately strengthening our local economy and providing more jobs for our community.
  • Education Excellence: I prioritize education excellence by advocating for increased teacher pay, better resources for schools, and innovative programs to ensure that every child receives a quality education and is prepared for success in the future.
  • Community Engagement: I believe in the power of community collaboration and engagement. As your candidate, I will listen to your concerns, work tirelessly to address them, and ensure that your voices are heard in the decision-making process, fostering a stronger and more united community for us all.

As a mother of four and a small business owner, I'm deeply invested in key public policy areas. Education is paramount; every child deserves quality schooling. Economic development is vital; small businesses drive our community. I also champion our veteran and elderly community—they're often overlooked despite their invaluable contributions. I advocate for policies that honor and support them. It's more than politics; it's about caring for those who've given so much.

The role of Assemblywoman in Henderson, Nevada, holds a unique and vital position within the state government and legal system. While experience in politics is valuable, it's equally crucial to bring diverse perspectives and real-world expertise to the table. As someone deeply rooted in family, business, and community engagement, I understand the daily challenges and aspirations of our constituents on a personal level. This allows me to approach legislative matters with empathy, practicality, and a genuine commitment to serving the best interests of our community. Furthermore, my background in business equips me with the skills to navigate complex issues, foster economic growth, and advocate for policies that support small businesses and working families. By bringing a fresh perspective and a steadfast dedication to people-centered governance, I believe I can make a meaningful impact as Assemblywoman, ensuring that the voices of Henderson residents are heard and valued in the halls of government.

I've always looked up to someone very special in my life Belinda Hightower, the proud owner of Hightower Private Housekeeping right here in Henderson, NV. She's not just a family friend; she's been a steadfast rock and mentor since my childhood. Belinda's unwavering faith, strength, and compassion have inspired me every step of the way. I aspire to follow her example of grace, resilience, and dedication to making a positive impact in our community. She's truly a blessing in my life, and I'm forever grateful for her guidance and support.

For those seeking to understand my political philosophy, I recommend exploring narratives that emphasize integrity, justice, and community empowerment. While I'm drawn to classic television shows like "Matlock," "Murder She Wrote," and "Gunsmoke," which depict principled characters navigating complex moral dilemmas, my reading preferences lean towards educational and motivational literature like "Rich Dad, Poor Dad." These works offer insights into financial literacy and personal growth, reflecting my belief in self-improvement and empowerment. Additionally, as a reader of the Bible, I find inspiration in passages like Proverbs 11:3, which underscores the importance of integrity in leadership: "The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity." This scripture encapsulates my commitment to ethical leadership and serving with integrity.

Integrity, accountability, and a genuine commitment to serving the community are the most important characteristics for an elected official. Integrity ensures that leaders act ethically and transparently, earning the trust of the public. Accountability holds officials responsible for their actions, ensuring they remain accountable to the people they serve. People make mistakes, but learning from them demonstrates humility and growth. A genuine commitment to serving the community means prioritizing the needs of constituents above personal interests or political agendas. These principles form the foundation of effective and responsible leadership, fostering trust, collaboration, and positive outcomes for all.

Certainly! As someone who values organization, I prioritize structuring tasks and managing responsibilities efficiently. While I may not be perfectly organized at all times, I actively strive to maintain a balance and keep things in order. This adaptability allows me to navigate various tasks and challenges effectively. Coupled with my other qualities like strong communication skills and strategic thinking, I believe my moderate level of organization, combined with dedication and resilience, contributes to my ability to excel in the role of an officeholder.

The core responsibilities of someone elected to this office revolve around representation, advocacy, and stewardship. Firstly, they must represent the diverse interests and needs of their constituents, acting as a voice for the community in legislative matters. Secondly, they are tasked with advocating for policies and initiatives that advance the well-being and prosperity of the community, addressing issues such as education, economic development, infrastructure, and social welfare. Finally, they are responsible for stewardship, ensuring that public resources are managed wisely and transparently, and that the public trust is upheld. Ultimately, the elected official must serve as a dedicated and effective leader, working tirelessly to improve the lives of those they represent.

The legacy I aspire to leave is one of resilience, faith, and growth despite adversity. Despite facing challenges such as heartache, betrayal, and neglect from those close to me, I've persevered by relying on my faith and staying steadfast in God's shadow. Through these trials, I've embraced the concept of "failing forward," learning from setbacks and using them as stepping stones toward personal and spiritual growth. My legacy is not defined by the challenges I've faced but by my ability to overcome them with grace and determination, leaving behind a testament to the power of faith and perseverance.

Oh, the excitement of becoming a parent for the first time! I vividly remember the birth of my first child—it was an absolute whirlwind of emotions and joy. I was 24 years old, bursting with anticipation and wonder as I held my precious bundle of joy for the very first time. It was a moment that changed my life forever, and I'll cherish it always!

Ah, my first gig was quite the adventure! I kicked off my career as the jester in the Excalibur dungeon on the Strip. Talk about a wild ride! I entertained guests, cracked jokes, and brought smiles to faces for a solid 2-3 years. It was a blast, although I have to admit, the jester hat did get a little snug after a while. But hey, age, weight, or month of birth, I always brought my A-game and kept the laughter flowing!

My favorite book is "Living Paycheck to Monday" by Dr. Lynn Richardson. This book resonates with me because it offers practical and insightful advice on managing finances and achieving financial freedom. Dr. Richardson's approachable writing style and actionable tips make complex financial concepts easy to understand and implement in everyday life. It's a resource that has helped me gain a deeper understanding of personal finance and empowered me to take control of my financial future.

A significant struggle in my life has been the enduring challenges I faced from childhood through adulthood. I encountered numerous situations and obstacles that no one should have to endure alone. However, I've always approached these trials with resilience and a fighting spirit, refusing to let them defeat me. Despite the hardships, I've persevered without dwelling on complaints or self-pity. Instead, I've relied on my inner strength and determination to navigate through life's difficulties, emerging stronger and more resilient with each obstacle overcome.

Among the responsibilities of the Assemblywoman role in Nevada, I consider several to be particularly important. Firstly, I prioritize representing the diverse voices and needs of our community in legislative decisions, ensuring that everyone's concerns are heard and addressed. Secondly, I am committed to advocating for policies that promote economic prosperity, job creation, and business development, recognizing the vital role of small businesses in our local economy. Additionally, I place a strong emphasis on improving educational opportunities and outcomes for our children, as well as fostering community engagement and collaboration to tackle pressing issues facing residents. Overall, I believe that by focusing on these key priorities, I can effectively serve as a voice for our community and work towards building a brighter future for all.

Yes, the Assemblywoman role encompasses several lesser-known powers and responsibilities that are crucial for effective governance. For instance, Assembly members play a significant role in shaping state legislation by introducing bills, proposing amendments, and participating in committee hearings to review and debate proposed laws. Additionally, they have the authority to represent their constituents' interests through constituent services, assisting individuals with navigating state agencies and accessing resources. Moreover, Assembly members have a duty to serve as liaisons between their communities and the state government, advocating for local needs and priorities at the legislative level. By raising awareness of these important functions, we can empower constituents to engage more actively in the democratic process and hold their elected representatives accountable for their actions.

While previous experience in government or politics can provide valuable insights and understanding of the legislative process, it is not necessarily a prerequisite for effective leadership in this office. What truly matters is a genuine commitment to serving the community, a strong understanding of the issues facing constituents, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to find innovative solutions. Experience in fields such as business, education, or community advocacy can bring fresh perspectives and valuable skills to the role, enriching the representation and enhancing the ability to address the diverse needs of the community. Ultimately, a dedication to transparency, integrity, and responsive governance is paramount, regardless of one's prior political experience.

In this role, it's more about connecting with people on a personal level, listening to their concerns, and finding practical solutions together. While skills and expertise are important, being approachable, empathetic, and down-to-earth is what truly makes a difference in serving our community. It's about understanding the everyday challenges people face and being willing to roll up our sleeves and work alongside them to make positive changes. So, while skills like communication and problem-solving are crucial, it's the genuine human connection and willingness to listen that really count.

I love a good bad dad joke, What do you call a sleeping dinosaur? A dino-snore.

I believe that financial transparency and government accountability are essential pillars of a healthy democracy. Transparency ensures that taxpayers know how their money is being spent, fostering trust and accountability in government institutions. It allows citizens to hold elected officials accountable for their actions and decisions, promoting integrity and preventing corruption. As an advocate for responsible governance, I support measures to enhance financial transparency, such as open budgeting processes and accessible public records. Additionally, I believe in robust oversight mechanisms to ensure government accountability, including regular audits and effective checks and balances. By prioritizing transparency and accountability, we can strengthen our democracy, build public trust, and ensure that government serves the best interests of all constituents.
