Clara Thomas
Clara Thomas (Democratic Party) (also known as Claire) is a member of the Nevada State Assembly, representing District 17. She assumed office on November 4, 2020. Her current term ends on November 6, 2024.
Thomas (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Nevada State Senate to represent District 1. She lost in the Democratic primary on June 11, 2024.
Biography
Clara Thomas was born in Tifton, Georgia. Thomas graduated from Hillcrest High School. She served in the U.S. Air Force from 1978 to 1996. Thomas earned an A.A. in social science from the College of Southern Nevada and a B.A. in psychology and M.P.A. from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. Her career experience includes working with a district attorney's office.[1]
