  • Championing policies and legislation to provide economic justice and empowerment for marginalized communities.
  • Championing policies and legislation to provide affordable and manageable housing developments in marginalized communities.
  • Championing policies and legislation to provide affordable health and mental care for poor disenfranchises Nevadans.

Economic Justice and Empowerment, Economic Development, Affordable and Fair Housing, Affordable Health and Mental Care, Educational Equity for Underserved Students, Veteran Affairs, and the increasing Homeless Crisis.

I have had a myriad of mentors and leaders that I have looked up to inclusive of the late Deacon Booker T. Rimson, Jr. (Father), Superintendent Booker T. Rimson, Sr. (Grandfather), Bishop William Rimson (Great-uncle), Elder William E. Rimson (Uncle), Bishop Gilbert E. Patterson, Bishop Nathaniel W. Wells, Jr., Bishop John H. Sheard, and Bishop Bill H. McDonnell, Jr., just to name a few. I have set under and followed the example of all of these tremendous leaders, because of their successful abilities to produce impactful and impressive results as pastors, architects, builders, businessmen, and spiritual advisors.

Yes, the book entitled "How to Win Friends and Influence People", authored by Dale Carnegie.

The characteristics and principles that are most important for an elected official to display is integrity, accountability and transparency. It is essential that an elected official can be trusted by his constituents to the degree that they are willing to support him or her in the cause to champion purposeful legislation for their said community.

The qualities that I possess that would make me a successful officeholder is my ability to interact with people of all ethnicities; my ability to help people find their gifts, talents, and skillsets and advance them into profitable careers, self-owned businesses, and even areas of ministries.

The core responsibilities for someone elected to this office is to listen to the constituents of their district, working to formulate policies that will be advantageous to the constituents of the elect officials' district.

I would like to leave a legacy that I have serviced my people, as well as underserved and marginalized communities in the State of Nevada.

The first historical event that happened in my lifetime was at the age of 19 years old, when I licensed as a minister in the Church of God in Christ (the largest Pentecostal reformation Worldwide).

My very first job was with Highland Appliance in Detroit. I was employed as a stock person, traffic manager, and audio manager over a 3 years period.

The ideal relationship between the governor and state legislature is a collaborative efforts where both offices work together for the betterment and advancement of the Great State of Nevada.

I perceive the state's greatest challenges over the next the decade is going to be the increasing homeless population due to the raising cost of rent and the housing market.

Yes, I believe that it is beneficial for state legislators to have previous experience in government or politics, however, I also believe that it can be just as beneficial for state legislators who are driven by passion and determination to serve their city, ward, district, state, in spite of their lack of experience. Some of the greatest legislators in state and federal government have evolved as tremendous legislators, successfully championing policies and laws without any previous experience government or politics.

Yes, I believe that it is not only beneficial, but necessary to build relationships with other legislators, especially those members across the aisle.

There is the great legendary U.S. Congressman John Lewis (D) from Georgia. Also, the legendary U.S. Congressman John Conyers, Jr. (D) from Michigan.

Yes, I would interested in running for City Council for the City of Las Vegas or County Commissioner in the future.

Championing economic empowerment legislation and Benefit Packages to be earmarked to marginalized and underserved communities to empower economic development projects and small black-owned businesses.

Presently it is Independent Black Voters. However, I am awaiting to be endorsed by other additional organizations and unions.

The committees that are interested in are Education, Judiciary, and Government Affairs.

As fore stated, my position is adamant that there should be financial transparency and government accountability. This tends to foster trust and confidence among constituents and voters.
