Biography
Benjamin Donlon was born in Lafayette, Louisiana. He served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971. His career experience includes working as a real estate broker and paralegal. Donlon has been affiliated with the National Association of Realtors.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 14, 2014. Incumbent Elliot Anderson ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Benjamin Donlon was unopposed in the Republican primary. Roberto Juarez ran as a Libertarian candidate. Anderson defeated Donlon and Juarez in the general election.[6][7][8][9]
