Terrible hotel. Marriott should be ashamed to put their brand on this barely above a run-down roadside motel. The entire hotel is dingy, frayed carpets, and stains everywhere. The staff, save for one, were friendly and helpful, so that at least saves this from a zero rating.

After a long day on the road, all we wanted was a quiet place to rest. I knew the minute I opened the door that would not be the case. I immediately called the front desk to see if they could move us to another room but she said the place was booked. Too tired to scramble around for somewhere else, we reluctantly stayed put. The noise from the highway was unbelievable. I paid almost $500 for this suite! The noise from the traffic continued all night.
For the price totally unacceptable.

This hotel can use updating for sure but the staff was so kind and helpful. That was the first time I ever received a welcome gift bag for the kids. They managed to hook me up with a room using rewards points my last night during a very busy time of year, thank you! The pool could be warmer.
Great location close to the airport, Sam's Club and many attractions. Check-in was seamless, staff was friendly, pool (no hot tub) and a great breakfast buffet. Not far from downtown Portland attractions.
Worst Marriott I’ve stayed at. After a harrowing travel day which required me to drive from New York’s LaGuardia to Portland due to missed connections and overbooking, I finally made it to the hotel at 11:30pm. The front desk manager, Scott was aloof at best. No asking how I am, no thanking me for being a Platinum Elite-for life, no offering of water. He was mean. When I finally got to the room, it was not clean, the shower was taped up, and there was hair and dirt in the tub. Had a very early meeting, and brought my concerns to the manager upon my departure. No apology, just a dazed and confused look. Do not stay here.
This place needs a good cleaning of facilities and people
