My boyfriend and I stayed here during a long weekend visiting friends in Portland. We didn’t want to pay the high rates by staying in the city but this hotel was a quick 10 minutes from downtown Portland. We took Uber/Lyft every night and it was super affordable.
The hotel is just your average hotel. It had everything we needed and not much fuss. Since we were there during COVID, there was no cleaning service every day but we were ok with that. My boyfriend used the fitness center every morning and said it was adequate. Staff was friendly. Quite a few guests did not wear their masks while in the lobby which irked us but not much we can do.
For the price we paid, it was a great stay.

You would never know this hotel is just off the highway, it is so quiet! The location is perfect for convenient access to all points around Portland, the Maine Mall, and many restaurants. The room was immaculate and very comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. In a world full of worker burnout, these folks seemed genuinely happy to be there and their workplace satisfaction shone brightly through in their service. The breakfast was robust and tasty too. Will definitely return!

I wanted to take the time to review this hotel. When I woke up the morning I was going to check out, I realized something. While in my room, both awake and trying to sleep, I never heard any noise from any other room. We were there for one night. The hotel staff told me the property was fully booked. We were right next to the highway. I barely heard the highway and never heard anyone else. This is something I have never experienced at any other hotel I have stayed at. That's worth five stars alone.

This hotel was a DUMP! How is this site giving this hotel 4 stars with all these bad reviews. I CANNOT BELIEVE Marriott is letting this hotel put their name on this place and charging these outrageous prices for this repulsive hotel. This hotel deserved no stars. The room was so tiny it was as though it was an afterthought. No closet, everything that suppose to be in a closet was hanging on the wall. The housecleaning cart was in the smelly hallway all day. The elevator was filthy as well. The young man serving breakfast had a Do rag on his head( sorry it’s a Black term) and many gold chains as though he left a rap concert 8:30 in the morning. Breakfast was not good and very limited also disorganized. When you walked into the dining arena one knew where the paper plates were. There wasn’t by the food and it wasn’t a sign. SMH!
The lack of cleanliness of this place is why I complain about pets should have rooms designated for them and their owners. Some ppl are allergic to pet dander. And to think housecleaning are cleaning better when ppl bring pets. I contacted Marriott to complain and they offered points. Luckily we were in Maine for one day.

Very disappointing hotel in many aspects. Unusually small, drab room with double beds and a very small bathroom. The room and hallway were badly overdue for a renovation... with florescent lighting and damaged walls. The pool was still closed because it needed repairs from not being in use during the pandemic. (We stayed here in late June, 2022!) The Lobby restroom was dirty in the morning and at the end of the day, it still had not been cleaned. Breakfast options were more limited than most mid-level chain hotels and food was put out sparingly. (Look in the cabinets if you want more cereal.) Breakfast area garbage was overflowing for 3 mornings in a row. This was an expensive hotel stay at $200+/night for the value provided! We usually stay at Marriott properties when we travel, so we have been to many Fairfields to compare. I would not stay here again.

Only stay here if you like hotels that are rundown, dirty, and smell like cigarettes and marijuana. As we walked to our room the entire hallway smelled like marijuana and there were ceiling tiles missing from the hallway ceiling.
When we entered our first room we realized it smelled like smoke. The 2nd room they gave us had a toilet that constantly flushed. When we said something to the front desk attendant she said there was nothing she could do since they were completely booked and those were the last 2 rooms. We asked if she could help us find a room at a different Marriott she said we could go outside and call customer service because they don’t have reception in the lobby. Marriott should consider removing its brand from this hotel. It did not even come close to meeting the standards of other Fairfield’s we have stayed at.
Marriott did end up moving us and the staff at the Sheraton at Sable Oaks was incredibly kind and helpful.

We stayed here for two nights. The hotel needs a lot of work. It is old and worn. It requires an overhaul. Given our schedule, it was convenient for us, but the hotel needs some TLC. The staff was friendly and pleasant, but the rooms and bathroom were small. It was convenient to local places and interstates but not sure it was worth the $ given we are staying in a Fairfield Inn north of this location and it is modern and spacious.

This is absolutely the best of the best hotel to stay at. There staff is pleasant, helpful and amazing. We have been staying there for 16 years and wouldn't stay anywhere else. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast is way more than you get at most continental breakfasts. We had stayed there with 3 other couples and everyone raved about the hotel. We were there to attend the symphony and they supplied 2 Ubers to transport the 9 of us. We were treated like royalty.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Location is good in relation to Portland, and easy on-off from the highway.
The grab and go breakfast bag (because of COVID) includes less than desirable pre-packaged muffins and cinnamon rolls. The rooms are small and not very clean; I found other guest hair and a small used towel in the bathroom.
