This is a dedicated dive resort. Eat dive, eat dive, sleep then repeat. There is not much else to do except sun bathe. The diving is very good and the dive operation is top notch. Rooms are comfortable. AC and WiFi good. Good fish life. Food was good and plentiful. We took the all inclusive package. Would go again.
Fantastic experience all around. The entire resort hotel, dining, and bar staff were amazing. The dive crew in particular makes the week. Shout out to Sophia, Altu, and Thibo on Island Dreamer for making the diving effortless....top notch.
The staff was amazing, I think they knew everyone's names by the end of the first day and greeted us anytime we arrived at a meal, the bar or an event. Boat crews went the extra mile to make it a fun trip and accommodate everyone, even the jr. diver I brought along. Bring your Pirate jokes you won't be disappointed.
This was our third time staying at LCBR for a week of scuba diving. We had an ocean view room with private patio which was very nice. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Definitely get the 3 meals/day package as there isn't much else available on the island. Restaurant staff (Claudia is the best, as are Kadejah and Dominique) go out of their way to be friendly and cater to our every need. The dive operation (Reef Divers Valet Diving) was excellent. The crew on our dive boat "Sea Dreamer" were Ragnar, Ken, and Sophia ( with assists by Alto). Getting suited up is easy, as they bring your tank/BC/regulator to you while you sit at the rear of the boat. Then all you have to do is stand up and giant stride in! We had lots of fun on and under the ocean, and they took great care of us. Ragnar entertained us several times a day during our pre-dive briefing with a great variety of pirate jokes. Winter is the best time to go to avoid the sargassum seaweed that drifts into the bay and has an unpleasant odor as it accumulates and decays along the shoreline. The diving was very good, we took a lot of uw pics and made several new friends during our stay.
I just returned from a week of diving and had the best time ever. Everything about this resort is amazing, from the friendliness of the staff who address you by name your entire visit, to the delicious meals and amazing desserts, to the great accommodations. Wifi was great throughout the resort, even down at the beach. I absolutely loved valet diving as I wasn’t as experienced as the rest of the divers on our boat Little Sister. Rosie, Jon and Stephen were amazing and extremely helpful with safety always being their main priority. We had a few dives in which the water was extremely choppy and getting back onto the boat was a challenge to say the least. Rosie was quick to point out to me the best way to do this to avoid injury and I was extremely grateful for her advice. I can’t say enough about this resort and valet diving and I look forward to my next visit.
