Ten of us in the private dining room and what a great evening. Numerous delicious tapas dishes kept coming as starters and then fish or steak . Everything thing was so fresh and cooked to perfection, served by excellent staff.
Two of us were gluten free and delicious alternative dishes were provided.
Highly recommend and one of the best Spanish meals I have had.

This was my second visit to the Windsor. The first time was about 9 years ago. This ocassion was for my husband's 70th birthday. The service and location is very good and we chose the Grand Windsor menu with paired wines. We were seated in the terrace. Everything was explained and the sommelier was very good at informing us regarding the origins of the wines and why they had been chosen. The artichoke and sea urchin and fresh pea starters were delicious. The fish course was very good apart from mine having a few fish scales which should't happen at this level. The main course of beef fillet was a bit disappoiting. Whilst beautifully cooked and tender it was just a bit boring and I think they should perhaps review and replace this course. The deserts were lovely and we were really full up by the end of the meal. I would definitely recommend it but I think they could do with being a ittle more adventurous with the food.

We arrived early was told there was a nine minute wait before they open offered drinks. We had three different servers but Nivia was the main, the service was great. We started with oysters and scallops from tapas menu enjoyed both. The main meal I had the roasted steak and the wife had the octopus, the steak was good, but the octopus was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is nice for couples made for a great date night.

It is a really nice place and the a la carte food is great. The 33 euro set menu is a total disappointment. The selection is extremely limited (2 first courses, 2 mains, 2 very basic desserts, you can pick one from each), portions small and the quality is miserable, really bad. One can have a better quality menu del dia in any "Manolo bar" down the street. If you stay away from the set menu, everything else is great.

Service was attentive but meal really “wrong” in the sense of tasteless rice and other plates so forgetable that now two months later I cannot report.
I was puzzled by the contrast of a so nice place with so poor meal quality.
Will not give a second chance.

The eggplant fritters were deep-fried and greasy.
The tuna was buried in a heavy sauce, and gave my spouse a bad stomach for two days.
They charge between $2.75 and $4 per piece of bread.
They served a fruit plate with a "delicate" amount of fruit, and then brought a bowl of berries to supplement, which was nice - especially given one of the pieces of pineapple was full of brown spots and not for eating.
You know the song la cucaracha? Well, there was one on the wall by our table. When we pointed it out they said they were sorry and deducted a glass of wine and the fruit plate from our bill.
The unwanted visitor turned my stomach. Whether from the visitor or the food, I felt sick the rest of the night, tossing and turning, as did my husband.
The decor is lovely.

The maître was stuck up and extremely rude. He charged us more, did not apologise and had an attitude not aligned with what we paid for and the kind of service we were expecting. Never going back there!. A piece of advice to Management: Get ride of the maître, now; he'll ruin your business and your reputation!.

Unwashed food without quality check (foreign object /sticker on the tomato), dirty plates and glasses.
These things must not happen in Michelin-rated restaurants. BTW: The food was in general fair to middling.

Good morning, we can accept this comment because its our guarantee since years of history of our restaurant that all the dishes are just perfect. You can prefer it or not, but never accuse us of unwashed food or dirty things. Thats cant be true

This restaurant has a charmed ambiance. Their outdoor patio is gorgeous and makes for a perfect date night. While their food is delicious, I think it's a little exaggerated for what it is.
Definitely a tasty meal, but perhaps too expensive for what they are serving.
Wonderful experience though and definitely worth a trip!

Went to this restaurant with the family. The visual experience of the decor was impressive. The service was very attentive and professional. Good wine list, Spanish high end bottles as well as others. Some of the dishes were superb and others were average. The prawn rice was the best!!

Absolutely delicious Catalan restaurant with creative tasting menus. We did the Windsor wine pairing with it . I highly recommend the angler fish dish. This place is worthy of a Michelin star

”Menu traditional” (no English menu, so it was a little bit suprice What we get 😄), food was simple without tricks, something that could easily thing catalanian granny will cook. All flavours were well balanced and extremely good

I searched around for some highly recommended Catalan food in Barca and this came up on Trip
It was a short taxi ride from Rambla
Nicely welcomed in and booking confirmed
Setting is intimate and open with some good use of walls and glass.
The two waiters who served us where knowledgable, enthusiastic and very good English
Nice leisurely pace to service, we started with Cava and then ordered a natural Catalan white wine which was orange, sounds weird I know but it was wonderful and different
The food is flourless and I can’t recommend enough the Scallop, Sea urchin cream and cod
Deserts topped of the evening with the nicest Spanish cheese I have ever tasted
If we go to Barca this will be first on our list

I had high expectations coming here and the food was great. The set menu with matching wines was very good. A small minus fir the the place being a bit tight and crowded between the tables
