This was my favorite restaurant when I lived in Córdoba. Every time friends or family came to visit, I made sure to take them here. It is in the casco histórico (old town of Córdoba district, right by the Mesquita) and has a very beautiful patio with traditional cordobés blue flower pots, so you will surely feel immersed in the Córdoba experience. The food here is absolutely delicious and authentic cordobés food. You cannot miss the salmorejo, rabo del toro, and flamenquín (cordobés food) and the croquetas and patatas bravas are also amazing. They make the bravas in a really unique way: they are whole potatoes with the center poked out and filled with aioli I sauce, and they are delectable. The lady who owns the restaurant is one of the kindest people I’ve met in Córdoba. Since I was a regular here, she always treated my guests and me to some Pedro Ximinez (delicious dessert wine). I highly recommend this place for an authentic cordobés dining experience and excellent service. This is the first place I want to visit and dine in at when the pandemic is over.

This might be my favorite place. Everything was amazing. The care given to accommodating gluten free was by far the best I have experienced. The staff was super friendly and every recommendation was spot on! The food was incredible. Thank you for an amazing evening!

We found this gem of restaurant by accident when walking around the old city of Cordoba in the heat of the day. We were greeted by owner Juan. The food is varied, perfectly cooked and artfully presented. There are both tapas and full plates.

This was one of our best meals during our two weeks in Andalucía - but far from the most expensive. We ate in the simple garden/patio area. Each dish was prepared with care. The patatas bravas were above and beyond any we have had, with a delicious, piquante sauce and perfectly roasted potatoes, beautifully presented. The sea bass was perfectly cooked, with tasty layers of flavor in the roasted peppers on which it was presented. The waitress was charming and very helpful and guided us to the flaky and quite enjoyable pastel cordobés for dessert.

This restaurant near the Mezquita has a beautiful courtyard. If you want to sit there you need to make a reservation, as they were shunting drop-ins to indoor seating. The duck breast with pears and berries was the single best dish we had during our month in Spain, and everything else was very good. Service was pleasant and prompt.

Stopped here for lunch. Had a delicious lunch with tapas, great service. We immediatly made a reservation for dinner the same day. During dinner again very delicious food, great wine, top notch barrel aged beer with a cooled glass (big ++ for this one) and again the wonderful service and hospitality.

My family had dinner here on our last night in Cordoba. We made a reservation in person while walking around the center in the afternoon and arrived to a table with our name on it. Food was delicious (goat cheese salad, ox tail risotto, croquettes, bravas, flamenquin) and plentiful. Some unique twists on plates we had eaten in other restaurants! Service was friendly and ambience on the patio was beautiful. Night ended with a complementary shot of delicious liquor of our choosing. Absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Cordoba!

Absolutely lovely restaurant. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We sat on the patio on a spring day. The Iberico pork was beautifully cooked. Terrific local wines for 3Euros a glass including a local vino verde that was sublime. We would definitely go back.

Super friendly staff and more importantly, the food was brilliant. We had the bull tail, duck and tiramisu. The patio was still open in November and the heating made it very comfortable. The food had great taste, the wild berry sauce with the duck was fruity and the meat on the tail fell off the bone when touching it. A great experience and will come back when I can.

This was a hugely disappointing evening. We came here because of its recommendation in Fodor’s Essential Spain. The decor in the patio was quite attractive, the service amiable enough, if slow and inattentive. But the food was indifferent, and for Cordoba unusually bad. As a starter my wife had the padron peppers, which were OK but unremarkable. My bravas potatoes were half a dozen minuscule wizened lukewarm objects with a dab of unidentified sauces surrounding them, one of which tasted like ketchup straight from the bottle. Perhaps my disappointment with the main course was my own fault for ordering the blackened cod, which I assumed would be a reasonable sized piece of cod that had been seared. In fact, it was another few small balls of cod — very little actual fish — coated in a practically inedible burnt and rubbery casing consisting of I don’t know what. My wife’s mushroom risotto was overcooked (she suspected it had been reheated) and short on mushrooms. We were so disappointed in the first two courses we didn’t bother with dessert. This disaster of a meal was in striking contrast with the two outstanding meals we had at La Regadera, at about the same price. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Just found this place almost by accident. It has outside garden dining that was full but we found a table inside. Four of us in the party. Orders included tuna salad (amazing) and charcoaled Cod ( sensational). Staff are helpful and very professional. Fantastic meal. Would love to return. Highly recommend.

We booked a table and so glad my research paid off ! Service was excellent and friendly Menu was very good with a specials board inside the restaurant The starters were excellent and the croquettes were perfection ! The mains were the duck and the special of the presa de tenera ( steak ) It is excellent and should be included on the main menu ! The steak was perfectly cooked We had no room for dessert but were offered a drink on the house which is a nice touch We will definitely return next time in Cordoba

Centrally located restaurant with a beautiful courtyard eating area decorated with plants. The servings are generous - I ordered the mushroom risotto and was full having only eaten through half the plate! The staff were very kind and attentive

Pleasant ambience in patio seating. Popular place with locals & tourists. The salmorejo soup was outstanding, croquettes were good but tuna carpaccio salad little disappointing. Flamenquine tapa was good. Service ok.
