Amman's layered history is reflected in its diverse people and its varied architecture. The city is home to a multidenominational and multicultural population. Even within the midst of the ultra-modern commercial centre, there is evidence of its ancient roots, with colorful souks, Roman ruins, cultural museums and monuments painting a picture of the history of the region.

The annual summer Ravello Festival began as a salute to Wagner’s music, but now showcases a wide range of music and arts.

Perched on Lake Garda’s eastern shore, and not far from Verona, Lazise is one of the Veneto region’s most popular vacation destinations. Its historic centre and lakefront beauty add to its charm, while water activities and action-packed theme parks attract families from all over the world.

If they showed up today, they'd find a youthful summer destination that centres on sunbathing (invented by Coco Chanel, some claim), casinos, nightclubs, and staying out late. TripAdvisor members say the one thing "JLP" lacks is restaurants, but neighbouring Antibes, a short bus ride away, has more than enough to compensate.

Everyone who visits Paris for the first time probably has the same punchlist of major attractions to hit: The Louvre, Notre Dame, The Eiffel Tower, etc. Just make sure you leave some time to wander the city’s grand boulevards and eat in as many cafes, bistros and brasseries as possible.
