Looking for a getaway that will accommodate people of all ages and their dogs....you've come to the right place at Muskoka Shores cottages. A group of us, including dogs, stayed at the newly built, stunning, Jack Pine cottage. This cottage comfortably slept 5 people and could have accommodated more with 2 queen beds and a loft bedroom big enough for 4 people. The kitchen was fully equipped and modern. The beds were comfortable. This cottage is not directly on the water but has a lake view. There are cottages at Muskoka Shores which are directly on the water. Corina was a friendly and fabulous host and was always available if we needed something. Some of the cottages have hot tubs and fire places. There are boat rentals available together with complimentary canoes, kayaks and paddleboats. Fishing right off the dock. Great for children are the volleyball and soccer games with a large open field to play. There is a trampoline and playground equipment which my son enjoyed. A sauna is on site which I enjoyed. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Muskoka Shores cottages. We will definitely be back again.

This is one of the best places in Ontario. The owner, Karina, is an absolute doll. She lives there and has put her heart and soul, which you can easily see, into this slice of heaven.

Everything is spotless, everything is comfortable. The lake is fantastic.

She is fair priced, personable and goes out of her way to ensure each guest has the best time. I am a repeat customer, not only because of the property, but because of her.

There are price points for everyone; tent sites, 3 season bunkies (with a bathhouse that is nicer than some peoples bathrooms at home) and a variety of cottages- some with hot tubs!.

I would recommend staying here and enjoying Karinas hard work and hospitality!

Just back from a two day ice fishing trip. Cottage was awesome and host/owner was very accommodating. I strongly recommend this operator who has an attention to detail for customer service. Have never ice fished Muskokas as we have always gone further north over the last 30 years. Walleye and perch in Muskokas is rare and hard to find. We will definitely be back. Oh yeah they even bbq you a great burger on ice.
5 star plus.

Huge disappointment! Assigned cottage would best serve as a hunting/fishing shack for the "boys" to get together. What you see is not what you get...photos need to be updated on Web Page. Definitely missed the mark on the renovations done to this cottage. This was a 13 hour round trip that could and should have been avoided but as they say "lesson learned". The Grants (D'Arcy/Bonnie)

Our favorite Muskoka destination.

Karina and her staff are so welcoming to their clean quiet cottage resort off the beaten path.

We look forward to our annual summer vacations here, and more often than not we see the same renters.

Muskoka Shores is the perfect spot!

My family and I stay at Muskoka Shores for 2 separate weeks each year. We truly wish we could stay longer or go more often. Every one of the cottages are perfect to be in. Thanks to the wonderful owner and staff.
