We stayed here for a week, during covid, and we were really impressed. We came mainly for beach holidays, and this hotel is a 10 min walk to the beach. Metro selva del mar is a 1 min walk. It’s in a quiet area, but at the same time, with all amenities around: supermarkets, fruit shops, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, laundry shop. We walked pretty much everywhere this time, to avoid being in public transport and you’re very close of the amazing area of Poblenou, beaches, shopping centre, park del ciutadelle, arc de triumph and also a short distance by metro if you want to go to city centre. Such a safe area. Hotel wise, very cheap for a week in July, reception guys are so amazing and helpful (all of them), cleanliness of the hotel was really good, only con is that there’s no mini fridge inside the room. Rooms are good size and in ours we had a small shared with a couple more rooms type of balcony where We could dry our clothes outside . Absolutely recommend and will stay there the next time we are in Barcelona !!!:)

Is a nice hotel and close to metro bus tram (T4) and about 200 meters to underground tram L4. About 30 minutes to the city center with metro bus N7 and about 15 minutes with underground tram L4. Tram T4 can take u close to Estación Nord with just about 7 min walk then u are at the station. Hotel is clear with nice towels and soaps. Heater and air condition was working good. Comfortable bed. Card key. Nice and helpful staff always ready to help you out. I recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel. Stayed 4 nights. Room was big enough for 5 people, (2 adults and 3 kids 16,13,12) which can be hard to find in Spain. The hotel is situated approx 7km from the centre of Barcelona, however, there is a bus and tram stop directly outside and a metro stop 200m away so getting into the centre is very easy from the hotel. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms cleaned daily, very comfortable beds. Overall a great stay and would definitely return here if going to Barcelona again in the future.

I reserved this hotel via booking.com. Despite them being able to pre-charge my credit card via booking.com, they insisted that I pay them the full amount in advance via a 3rd party app. When I refused, they sent false alarms to booking.com claiming that my credit card is invalid, while in reality they never tried to charge it. It could as well be a scam. At the end, I refused to pay and they cancelled my booking.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights it’s absolutely perfect! Very good value for money the bed was very big and comfy good pillows and nice towels. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English. The rooms was cleaned everyday and the bed made and towels hung. It really is just 1 minute to the metro which takes around 10 minutes to get to the cathedral and other things in the gothic quarter. I would definitely stay at this hotel again 10/10. They also have a little fridge with snacks and drinks that you can buy from reception.

Fairly basic hotel,but ideal for a short stay in Barcelona. Friendly,helpful staff. We were able to check in early,which we appreciated. Room was clean as were the communal spaces. Bed was comfortable. Free in room safe. Wi-Fi was fine. Snacks and drinks available to purchase in lobby. Bathroom was small and shower was too. Good location a couple of miles from city centre. 10 minutes walk to local beach. Plenty of local bars and cafes for drinks and snacks. Diagonal Mar shopping centre is close by,with good selection of shops and eateries. Very well connected,tram stop across the road. Number 7 bus (stop outside hotel) will take you straight to the city centre in 10 mins,regular service including night bus. (Just pay on entry with contactless).Metro Station two minutes away too. We really liked the location as we walked to the beach a couple of evenings.

Great rooms, staff was really nice, bed was huge and the shower had great water pressure which was the first time my girlfriend and I both said that in 5 weeks of travelling. The only little things needed were just a little fridge and kettle which they didn’t have. Walking distance to the beach

We stayed for five nights, for business and holiday combined. Upon arrival the taxi driver had difficulty locating the hotel but the time of day helped, it was not full daylight anymore so the hotel name sign (brightly lit) was pretty easy to spot. The location is just unusual, on the bottom floor of an apartment building. The staff, as others have mentioned, was superb, helpful, happy and welcoming. Bed was extremely comfy, shower drain wasn't working right but it was quickly fixed when we pointed it out. All in all, for the low price this hotel was way better than expected. The absense of a bar or restaurant doesn't matter since there are both right around the corner, and plenty to choose from, and the hotel offers soft drinks and coffee in the lobby for a cheap price, not usual in hotels. Of course the room could have used a safe, that might be only thing really missing. Will definitely use this hotel again and would warmly recommend it.

We had our best stay at Hotel Best Price Diagonal! It is a perfect hotel for a city like Barcelona. We went to our honeymoon and stayed there for a week (from July 3rd - July 10th). The hotel room was perfect, had a very comfortable bed, very good AC, good showers, also the rooms were very clean, the only negative thing was that the room walls were a little bit dirty (the ceiling had dirty footprint marks). The location is perfect, quite and you can get to the city centre in 10-15 minutes, the beach is like 5-10 minutes with walking. The staff was fantastic, we brought in a lot of sand to our rooms and by the next day, our room was always very clean (thank you, and sorry for that), the reception was also fantastic, Anna and Sandra helped us a lot to make our stay perfect (also thank you for the other receptionists as well). Barcelona is a great city, with a great beach and has a great feeling of freedom and peace, it is also very easy to find everything with google maps and the public transportation system is quite simple, or only the ticket system is a little bit strange. Long story short: This hotel is fantastic, with great staff, great location (especially if you are going there for the beach). We loved to stay there, and we are very happy that we have chosen this hotel for our honeymoon.

This was my 3rd visit to Barcelona I usually go with my partner and stay at the princess hotel which is just down the road. This time around I visited with a group of friends so we needed to budget for everybody and given my previous visits I suggested this location and we discovered this hotel.
The rooms are modern clean and no frills you pay if you want added extras such as use of the safe and for fresh towels. I think safe was €4 per day and towel changes were €3 per wash. We didn't bother with using the safe and we were perfectly fine the hotel is trust worthy as were the staff so we had no trouble at all.
I would say this hotel would be suitable for groups of friends and also couples (all be it couples may want a little more luxury) but I cannot fault the appearance or cleanliness of the hotel at all. Rooms aren't the biggest I've stayed in but your on a city break exploring so it doesn't matter at all.
The location is perfect there is a tram stop and a metro station directly outside the hotel which services the marina and metro will take you to las ramblas (about 15mins) it's very easy to use and I felt safe enough to travel in my own by the metro during the day. The diagonal shopping mall is about a 5min walk and the beach about 10 mins away really accessible!
Overall I would stay here again, great value for money.

Hello , İ was visit last summer to This otel its , on back street but İ thing its safe place , because İ Turn a otel morning 03:00am - 04:00am And no any problem !!! İ am a not women but , İ can guess its safe , İ dont see any danger or not safe place in barcelona !!!! İts really good city , İ will travel after 2 days Agean Spain İ love This country !!
