To be in TripAdvisor’s top 40 restaurants in Barcelona, you have to be doing something right – and Kiltro does it in spades. We had a fantastic, laidback evening here and the food was incredibly given how cheap it was (the amazing central American flavours, pulled pork burgers, fish tacos, sweet potato bravas…not to mention the pisco sours!) The best thing, though, was the service – I can’t remember a more friendly team of waiters and chefs who raced to the bar to get us free shots when they found out it was our honeymoon. If you’re in Barcelona, you *must* visit Kiltro – you won’t regret it.

Andres, Fran, y Luis. The three amigos who created and run Kiltro. They are its heart and soul and you will find them working the bar, the kitchen, and the floor serving their guests with passion and panache.
It's not often that a place excels on both the food and beverage fronts with equal excellence. Kiltro pulls it off brilliantly.
The cocktails are sublime. The menu offers a mix of stellar originals and creative riffs on classic cocktails. Of course the barkeep can make or riff on any classic you like. There is a strong focus on Pisco, it being a classic spirit indigenous to Chile, which home of one of the founders. Pisco is far more versatile than the Pisco Sour familiar to most of us. A colorful array of house-infused Piscos lines the top shelf of the bar and serve as the foundation for many of the cocktails on the menu. It's worth noting that many of the components of the house cocktails are made in house, including a chipotle syrup that gives the Picaflor its heat.
The beautifully plated food options are all Latin American classics or inspired by by traditional dishes of the region, meticulously crafted with local ingredients from scratch in a tiny kitchen in the back of the restaurant. The ceviches in particular will rock your world, but all of the offerings will tempt your palate and are worthy of your consideration.
Plan to return many times to work you way through both menus; I guarantee you will not be disappointed. I am fortunate to live one block away and I visit almost daily.

I will keep this short and sweet. I could not recommend this restaurant enough, the waiters were so friendly and the food was incredible - even the chef came out to bring us extras and checked in on us. The cocktails were an amazing size and great value for money, please go here!!

A hidden gem right next to our favourite pool hall. We discovered the amazing food and drinks at kiltro one evening and have become regulars at this bar and restaurant. The team of staff are so lovely and interesting and enthusiastic as well as multilingual which is an added bonus for foreigners. Every drink has a unique story and interesting ingredients. Always new flavours, aromas and amazingly presented beverages to wow even a non cocktail person. 10 out of ten. Good people running my wife and i's fave place

I don’t believe one can ever go wrong going to Kiltro for a meal. The food and cocktails are affordable, always delicious, fresh and properly served by the an attentive, kind staff that are able to communicate in english, french, spanish catalan, dutch, german and even portuguese.
It is located in a lovely neighborhood in the heart of Barcelona.
Feels like a new experience every time.

We visited this fantastic restaurant twice in two days - the first time for late night cocktails (superb) and then went back to eat the next day. We were warmly greeted both times by the friendly staff. The passion for serving great food and drinks was obvious from the helpful explanations and recommendations they gave to help us choose from the menu. They were also really flexible on the dishes, increasing number of portions (there were 3 of us) and adding a vegetarian option. Our meal was absolutely delicious!! The atmosphere was great and it was amazing value. Highly recommended!!

I'm American and I've been living in the Barcelona neighborhood of Gracia for 5 years. So I've been to this restaurant/bar "restobar" about 100 times. Kiltro is also great for private events as I recently had a private birthday party there. The owners and the staff are amazing. I'm also a Kiltro NFT holder so I get invited to their special events and receive other special benefits. Most importantly, I always get the pisco sour. And I always ask for the larger size known as the "Catedral". For food you must get the nachos and they come with a variety of meat choices. Then there are the pulled pork burgers that come with the best homemade fries and dipping sauce that you will ever taste. If you don't opt for the pulled pork burgers then I would get the fries as a side order and then another and another. The sweet potato bravas are always a great complimentary item as well. And then there is the tropical ceviche with the mango. Absolutely delicious. When friends come to town this is always my first restaurant suggestion. Kiltro is the best and I can't wait for their expansion throughout Barcelona and eventually the world. KILTRO INTERNATIONAL WORLDWIDE baby!!!

I‘ve been there on the last evening of my holidays and I enjoyed the best dinner of my whole Barcelona trip. The chef ,Andres, introduced me to the columbian kitchen serving some great dishes. Would definitely recommend trying the plátanos in combination with a pisco sour, absolutely amazing!! Kiltro was a highlight of my trip and a must see if you’re around Barcelona. I‘m already excited for my next visit to Barcelona, because I’m definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu.

Best food I’ve had in a long time!
Must go if you’re in Barcelona. Nice and varied menu with delicious food to share. The venue is really nice, cozy and the owner comes by your table frequently to check if everything is alright and just to have a chat. It really ads to the overall experience!
If you go to Kiltro, you definitly should try the ceviche and the pisco sour. They’re absolutely amazing.
To conclude: best place we ate when during the week we were here. Would highly reccomend

Went to KILTRO with some friends for a night of catching up and having some food. Very much surprised by the night. The food is spot on, Admosphere is great and the hosts are just incredible: they seem born with a passion for making your night. Ask them about the tequila, any detail of the food or the michellada.. You ll love the response!

I have eaten a lot of Mexican food in my time, but this was definitely some of the best. The guys who run the place are very friendly, and the waiter at front of house took pity on our limited Spanish and spoke with us in perfect English.
Cocktails are so good here! I cannot remember the name of the one I had, but it was delicious and had a lovely twist of nutmeg in it. The guacamole - I don't know what their secret is - was the best I've had in my life. All the food came out very quickly (which was much appreciated, as we were so hungry), but not at the cost of quality! The portions were generous, everything was fresh, and the banana cheesecake we had for desert was incredible.

I have been to Kiltro 2 times this summer.
I mean.... I will remember their Pisco Sour and the Ceviche for ever i think 🥰. It is a passionate team and you can definitely feel it. The place is warm and welcoming, the dishes are full of flavours, made with quality ingredients in an innovative way, the cocktails are high class and definitely made with passion... in other words, a place to visit : highly recommended !

Fantastic food and cocktails. What else do you need. Great way to mix things up when in Barcelona. Everything that we had was super fresh and tasty. They even converted me to guacamole which my wife has been trying to get me to eat for years.

I went to Kiltro last week and it is definitely a place I will happily return to and recommend to family/friends. It is a cozy and atmospheric bar and the owners are very welcoming, friendly, personal and you can see that they have a passion for their job. The cocktails were amazing and so was the food. We tried the ceviche, patacones and guacamole and it was delicious! The guys know what true hospitality is and will certainly make your visit a memorable one! You can see it in the service, the preparations and display of the dishes and the overall atmosphere.
A must visit and hidden gem of Gracia! :)

Kiltro is a welcoming spot in the heart of Vila de Gracia offering top notch cocktails, specializing in pisco, and delicious South American tapas (empanadas, ceviche, tacos, etc). The vibe is always friendly and fun. A collaboration between 3 friends, the love and passion they put into Kiltro is apparent. The menu has a little bit of everything, whatever your preferences, you are guaranteed to find something on the menu that will keep you coming back again and again.
