8 bedroom B&B with beautiful river views. 2 king & 6 queen rooms available. Each room is equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, flat screen TV and cable. A 3 or 4 piece private bathroom is attached to each room. Breakfast is included in the room rate and is available in the dining room with other guests or can be ordered to your suite for a more intimate experience. Our breakfast menu includes many options such as Eggs Benedict, french toast with strawberries or traditional bacon and eggs. Gluten free bread available! We have a few rooms that are pet friendly but are subject to availability. (Queen rooms only) please inquire for your dates! Above ground pool outside for guest use. There are three great dining options that are within walking distance; The New Glasgow Lobster Suppers, The Preserve Company and The Mill restaurant. The owners set out to create a place to stay that focuses on guest comfort and they succeeded. And, they do it with a personal touch. We had a beautiful, large room—decorated tastefully and with everything one could need. If we did need something, the hosts were very responsive. We had a lovely view of the river from our room where we had our breakfasts—delivered to our door (Its Covid still). The menu to select from was more than adequate. Food was great. It was quiet and private and there is plenty of handy parking available. Highly recommended.

We were in the Turret room for 2 nights. This room is as large or even larger than most hotel rooms. This room has a small table to have your morning coffee & breakfast that can be delivered to your room. Several choices for breakfast & everything we had was delicious. Everything was spotless in the room including the bathroom. Nicole & James were very friendly & recommended places to explore & eat. Would not hesitate to stay there again if we ever return to PEI.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lookout Inn! Nicole and James were amazing hosts! They're so nice and friendly and great to talk to. Nicole makes amazing breakfasts that the downside is our three year old was expecting the same breakfasts once we got home! Nicole also had great suggestions on what to do and where to go with kids. She set up a play pen for our baby to sleep and had other baby items which were super helpful since we had a 7 month old with us. The room we stayed in was big and comfortable. We had a nice view of the water. We were there a totle of 6 nights but we could have stayed longer!

After a long journey out to the island we checked in to find we had a mix up and they cancelled one of our rooms and had only one room available instead of two. Even after several emails to confirm availability after the storm. Very disappointed. We had to make other arrangements. Lucky for us power was restored hours before at another family cottage resort in North Rustico and a fine gentlemen named Dwight at North Rustico Cottages helped us out.

What a great B&B to stay in. The hosts James & Nicole are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and modern with all the comforts. You get a free breakfast every morning either in a quaint dining room or delivered to your room. Plus, it's a high quality breakfast ( eggs benedict anyone?) The Inn is located very near to Cavendish and it is in the center of PEI so getting around the island is easy. Both James & Nicole will answer all your island questions and offer suggestions for places to eat and visit. Will most definitely will be booking this B&B on our next visit to PEI. I recommend the The Lookout Inn for your PEI visit. You will not regret it.

We stayed at the lookout inn and we loved it! We are a family of 5 (two adults and three small kids). It was our first time staying at bed and breakfast and it was so much better than hotel! The atmosphere of their house is so homey, welcoming, and friendly. Our kids made friends with their kids! Would definitely come back again. Nicole and their family are very kind, welcoming, organized and clean. Our rooms were immaculate with all the necessities (soaps, fridge, coffee, etc.). They make home made breakfast (you choose the night before what you wish to eat in the morning). The location is also perfect-close to Ann of Green Gables, close to the beautiful beaches. Absolutely recommend this place!

We stayed at the Look Out Inn for 5 days in mid-September. It was a perfect location to access both Cavenish and Charlottetown. We stayed in the ground floor Grey Room. It was very clean, quiet, roomy, comfortable and set up well with a mini-fridge, coffeemaker, dresser, table and 2 chairs. The king bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The view of the river out the front was lovely. The hosts are friendly, welcoming and helpful. And the breakfasts are superb! Nicole is quite the cook! My husband is still talking about the poached eggs. We are so glad we stayed here and it will be the first place we book when we return to PEI.

We stayed at the Lookout Inn and it was incredibly beautiful and my favourite place I have ever stayed. Nicole and James are the nicest people you will ever meet. We stayed in the Green room and it was amazing!! Nicole adds so many special touches to each room, you will feel right at home. Breakfast was amazing. You have so many options and Nicole makes every thing from scratch. The food was so good!! Their property is beautiful and you feel like family while you are in their home. You will not regret your stay. The price is very very good too.

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Lookout inn . The breakfasts were Fantastic and delivered to our room due to covid . the room was clean as a button , had our own entrance to come and go as we wished . This is a great place to get away. Nicole is a great host and makes a superior breakfast. She took every possible Covid 19 precaution and made sure we were comfortable. The Antique room is spacious, with its own outside entrance. We will definitely stay here again
