Stayed here recently for €75 per night / double room. Pretty good value.
The rooms were modern and well appointed with effective air-con and the staff, who speak excellent English, were friendly and helpful.
Buffet breakfast, while of good quality, was pretty steep at €14 per person.
The main thing about this hotel is that it is quite far out of town and, although the bus service is pretty good, the most frequent bus (No. 22) takes a good 30 minutes to get into the centre, while the nearest metro station a 20 minute walk away. One advantage is that Barcelona Bus Turistic, which brings you to all the major tourist attractions, stops at the nearby Monastir de Pedralbes. Taxi fare to the city-centre is about €8-11, depending on traffic.
As noted in a previous review, however, the distance from the city-centre does mean that the hotel has nice views of the mountains. There's also a decent shopping centre on the Avinguda Diagonal near the metro station.

Overall, we found the Sansi Pedralbes to be a decent base if a little too far from the city-centre; going back there every evening before heading back in to town for dinner, clubbing etc. was an hour-long round trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Barcelona, and we will be back.

A lovely secluded area near the Monastir de Pedralbes in Barcelona. Adjacent to the Real Club de Tenis. Stayed while at the Barcelona Open. Staff magnificent, could not be more helpful, breakfast excellent (if a little on the expensive side). Room had a makeover since last stay, excellent as well. Overall, a great experience repeated. Well worth it.

I will have to agree with all of the other reviews. The staff here are spectacular and this hotel should be a case study for other hotels worldwide.
I arrived early on a Sunday to a very friendly and helpful staff, who accommodated me and allowed me to check in (and thus take a nap) before giving me a ton of tips on how to get around. The hotel is located out of the centre of the city, which was fine as I was ultimately attending IESE for a meeting (and it is a 5 minute walk up the hill).
Returning back, I was greeted by other staff, and in total probably had noteworthy interactions with 5 or 6 different staff members, all of whom remembered me and I feel were the type of people who genuinely were keen on helping the customers.
I happened to be on the city bus with one of the staff who talked to the driver to make sure to let me off near a restaurant i wanted; some shared various insights into seeing the city (and went to the effort of walking out of the hotel to show me where to go, etc.).
A staff member from IESE informed me that a lot of his colleagues stay at the hotel and they have always had a high opinion of the hotel, which does not surprise me.
In terms of the hotel itself, it is quite modern and very clean. The room was nice and again very clean, with a nice decor - the bathroom was also quite nice and had a good array of amenities.
The breakfast was tasty and on one of the days was made to order; the other was buffet but both were nice.
The tourist bus (double decker) comes quite close and stops at the monastery (about a 3 minute walk), which is very handy. Numerous city buses stop across the street and go to the Placa Catalunya (downtown Barcelona) in about 30 minutes; the metro station is about 15 minutes walking away and you can take the bus there as well. The airport is not terribly far away, as it is also on the west side of the city.
Overall, this is a great hotel option and certainly hope to be staying here again in the spring!

Don' t go here, try another hotel.. please listen me. Ratio quality/price very very high. Breakfast very expensive, dinner very expensive, room very expensive. The bus for the airport doesn't exist. Only the staff was good but is not enough.
TRY ANOTHER HOTEL PLEASE LISTEN A GOOD GIRL

I just stayed at this hotel while visiting the UPC campus which is very nearby. If you are visiting UPC, this hotel is in an outstanding location, <5 minute walk from campus.

The lobby and rooms are modern and stylish. My room was not large, but it was very modern and nicely appointed. The bathroom was gorgeous. The room overall had everything I needed, including free wireless internet.

The most remarkable thing about this hotel is the staff. They go out of their way to help. When I arrived, the checkin process took only moments, and almost as quickly they had brought a fresh cup of coffee to my room. At checkout, they had my luggage into a taxi for the airport within about a minute of me appearing in the lobby. They are clearly well-trained, and it was a nice experience.
