Write a reviewI have stayed in hundreds of hotels, so I believe I have “hotel-cred”.
The Good:
- cheap rate
- quiet location away from busy highway
- ample parking
- clean room
- comfortable bed
The Bad:
- front entrance closed due to collapsing structure
- foul smell in hallways
- no elevator seen....they might have one?
The Awful:
- paper thin walls....I can hear my neighbours talking in a normal voice....in fact, I think the walls actually amplify the sound of their voices!
Conclusion:
- pay a little more and stay somewhere else.....I might even go sleep in the car if my neighbours don’t shut the heck up!
It’s going to be a long night.....

Front desk person was pleasant and helpful, but obviously harried (a second staffer arrived as we were leaving). Room was clean and comfortable. Although close to the highway, we were on the other side and it was pretty quiet. The hotel is dated, but the rooms have been updated. It was clean. Breakfast was mostly continental. As with most budget hotels, the "hot" breakfast means you can make a waffle. The room for breakfast was small, so we had to take it back to our room. If you just need a cheap place to crash, this'll do fine.

My wife and I stayed here August 13,14 2016 for a weekend in Montréal. The first night we had no towels in the room, the second night we had towels but no soap. The staff were polite but seemed short handed and always rushing around. The room could use a good carpet cleaning, as it looked a little dated. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, eggs, bacon, waffles, yogurts, fruits, etc... the staff seemed friendly and happy to help, though sometimes the English was not too good. There is no pool here at this hotel, even though the website shows a picture of one.

Booked via Choicehotels.ca at GOC rate at 116$C.
Checked in late, got a room with queen bed, fridge, microwave, LCD TV, good wifi, typical CI bathroom. Nothing special. No amenities at this hotel, so dont expect a gym or anything. Lots of parking. Breakfast was decent with scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, potatoes, bread, fruits, yogurts.
Plenty of dining options around.
Overall, decent.

Gentleman with glasses at frontdesk was very nice and helpful. Same also with black gentleman in breakfast room. Did not like that they serve you eggs/sausages. Most hotels have self serve. Based on this, I might stay somewhere else. Wifi was very good.
