What Was the PCORI Evaluation Group (PEG) and What Did It Do?

The PCORI Evaluation Group (PEG) was a consultative task force that advised us on how best to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of our work—from the usefulness of the studies we fund, to the extent to which the findings from these studies affect health decisions.

The PEG was comprised of members of our Board of Governors and Methodology Committee, external advisors selected for their expertise in specific areas of evaluation research, and PCORI staff.

The PEG provided targeted feedback on:

  • Our evaluation goals
  • Methods for achieving those goals
  • Dissemination opportunities for results of our evaluation
