IT Service Updates

Annual NYU Wi-Fi Security Certificate Alert

Every year, NYU renews the NYU Wi-Fi security certificate. When this happens, the next time you connect to NYU Wi-Fi you'll see an alert prompting you to review and accept the new certificate. For more info, see the NYU Wi-Fi service page.

July 22: Web Publishing Update and Plugin Retirement

On July 22, the NYU Web Publishing (WordPress) service will be migrating to a new hosting vendor and retiring a set of plugins. The owners of impacted sites have been emailed instructions. Sites that don’t use the retiring plugins will not be impacted apart from a maintenance freeze during which sites will remain visible.

July 26: NYU VPN Upgrade to Standard NYU Login and MFA

Logging into NYU VPN will be getting easier and more secure. After you use Cisco AnyConnect to connect, your browser will open the familiar NYU Login page and Duo prompt with all NYU MFA options. Learn more about VPN and the upgrade, now scheduled for July 26.
