Recently had the opportunity to explore the design for a Spiritual Center nestled in the Great Plains. Embracing the core meaning of hospitality … a home away from home. JCJ ARCHITECTURE
Since 1936, JCJ Architecture has built a practice on the union of business and art; an integration that combines our rigorous methods of management, the high standards of design and execution our projects achieve, and the kind of service our clients require and deserve. To be of service and value to our clients, we have developed a keen understanding of their respective businesses, of the challenges they face, and of their aspirations. We approach each project with extensive knowledge of its context and purpose, and with open and inquiring minds. Our experience does not give us predetermined answers—it enables us to ask the right questions. JCJ Architecture's teams of specialists focus on certain project types and execute them exceptionally well. Each of our core markets – education, hospitality, mixed-use, public safety, corporate, performing arts, -- is led by a nationally-renowned director supported by a depth of knowledge within our studios that allows us to provide focused expertise across the country. JCJ has launched a WELL-Environment Strategies Team, which will focus on implementing the WELL Building Standard®, the first protocol of its kind to focus on the health and wellness of occupants within the built environment. This standard identifies specific design strategies, performance targets, and operational policies that can enhance health and well-being when holistically integrated into building architecture and design. This team is led by three of the world's first Provisional WELL APs, professionally trained at the Cleveland Clinic. With offices in Hartford, New York, Boston, Phoenix, San Diego, Tulsa and Las Vegas, JCJ’s talented designers are supported by a business framework that gives structured freedom to their creativity and focus to their purpose: exceeding the objectives of our clients.

Last Friday marked an exciting milestone for our team as we celebrated the Topping Out Ceremony of the new 12-story hotel tower at Harrah's Cherokee Valley River. JCJ’s Peter Stevens, Steven Palmisano, and Megan Lamontagne attended the celebration of the project’s progress hosted by Valley River and Robins & Morton. After all teams signed the beam, Valley River General Manager Lumpy Lambert, EBCI Principal Chief Michell Hicks, and Vice Chief Alan B. Ensley expressed their gratitude to everyone involved in the project and their appreciation for the community this project serves. We extend our heartfelt thank you to all who contributed, including Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians for their vision and trust in our team, Harrah’s for their project leadership, our consulting engineers, and the Robins & Morton Construction Management team. #HarrahsValleyRiver #ToppingOutCeremony

Congratulations, Daniel Bhopaul! We sincerely appreciate the dedication and effort you've demonstrated during your internship with us and we're very excited to welcome you to our team full-time at our New York office starting in July!
A month ago, I graduated from Pratt Institute with a Bachelor of Architecture. This moment culminates five years of hard work and countless sacrifices. It has been a journey filled with late nights in the studio and challenging projects, all while balancing school with an internship and athletics. Now, I’m thrilled to embark on the next chapter of my life, where I can finally bring my passion and skills to life by designing buildings in the real world. Alongside my studies, I had the incredible opportunity to intern for two years at JCJ Architecture. During my internship, I learned from extraordinarily talented professionals in the field and gained invaluable hands-on experience. I’m thrilled to announce that I will be joining the JCJ ARCHITECTURE team full-time starting in July! Reaching this point wouldn’t have been possible without the support and guidance of many amazing individuals. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to my professors, coaches, colleagues, cross country and track teammates, and my friends and family. Thank you all for believing in me and helping me reach this milestone. I’m excited to embark on this next chapter and continue growing as a professional in architecture. Here's to building a bright future, one design at a time!
