📢 📢 An incredible investment and development opportunity 📢 📢
Arguably involving the most prominent and iconic building on the #sthelens skyline, but moreover a stunning former headquarters complex.
There is so much potential here with supportive local planning principles for appropriate redevelopment of this Grade II listed asset, including SHLAA recognition.
I would implore all aspirational and visionary developers/investors to consider this opportunity, which has to be seen to appreciate the quality that Pilkington invested in their HQ and the original features largely remain thus presenting an incredible canvas for future use.

MORRIS+COMPANY
Morris+Company are a London and Copenhagen based practice, spanning almost twenty years, that work on housing, schools, healthcare, workplaces, tall buildings, neighbourhood masterplans, research, campaigns and much more. Our team’s rich, cross-sector experience informs every stage of the project journey - connecting environmental sustainability with economic, social, and cultural resilience.
Today more than ever, we need a global outlook, to learn from each other, to come together and think differently with a creative collectiveness that yields transformative and collaborative benefits. Our London office, first opened in 2004 in Clerkenwell has evolved and moved several times, now residing in a converted warehouse in Hackney, and in 2018 we opened a studio in Copenhagen. This act represented an opportunity for a dual lens on subjects which cross international borders. This sense of duality, the instance of opposition or contrast between two concepts or two aspects of something, conveys an important teaching that our life and work is made up of a balanced interaction of competing opposites. Too much of one thing disturbs this balance and may cause harm.
This therefore is a guiding principle in how we approach our work, placing complimentary and contrasting themes in the same decision making space in order to achieve transformative gains. We are non-specialist, instead prefering to define ourselves through a broader experience, across scale/typology/sector/location, where disciplines and industry cross-pollinate and disrupt; the ability to deliver a vision; to craft places with technology; to conserve buildings through transformation; working at the scale of both building and city.

Great to be at the Industrial and Logistics conference today. 🚈 🚛 🏭
Yet again the Property Week team delivered another great day full of insightful panels and opportunities to network with like-minded individuals whilst making new contacts. The day was always going to be a bit of a fact-finding mission but I have to say, I got far more from it than expected.
Highlight of the day for me was Tom Alexander's masterclass on industrial building design. There were plenty of other takeaways too.
I was really impressed how the sector is embracing technology, and in a way which puts some other sectors in the dark ages. There seemed a genuine passion by all to create modern sustainable workspaces that embrace the new world and the challenges and demands of Generation Alpha. 👏
I was also pleasantly surprised to hear how co-location and multi-level schemes are really seen as the future. We have several schemes in and around London where resi and multi-level industrial are sitting cheek by jowl so, coupled our ability to bring forward schemes with complex constraints and ground conditions, we clearly have something to offer the sector.
Perhaps this was the reason that I found that the Walsh name was known by many of the people I spoke to. It's always pleasing to know your name is known beyond your core markets.
This is a sector that clearly shares our passion for value-added practical and sustainable design and one in which I know we will be able to assist new clients in achieving their goals. It's clearly a sector which is going places (excuse the pun! 😀 ).
